Right. So after this game we'll be 4-4 and they'll be 5-3.

I understand Cowboys fans' immense dissapointment after last weeks game (it still stings), but imagine being an Eagles fan and watching your team lose that game against hapless Washington. The Eagles will have heard that their playoff hopes have ended by kickoff. This game will be tough, but we are better than Philly and I believe we will win. After that, we go to Minnesota and take it to them. I don't see Minny having much of a chance against us. I have faith in this defense and our QB. Those are two of the most important ingredients to success in the NFL. Since Romo has returned, we've won most of our games and basically beaten ourselves in a couple. Despite some horrible playcalling and periods of sloppiness, I still believe I have reason to have faith. Any given Sunday fellas...oh and ladies.

Oh those stats would suggest we're toast but I agree. We are the better team but we have to play a complete. I wouldn't rely on what Tampa does and how Philly will feel about that. I am very surprised the NFL switched our game time knowing the Tampa Bay game is important to both teams.

I do not trust Romo in Philly in December. Last year's game there means nothing to me.

One of these days, this organization is going to have to pull up it's big boy shorts and wind to help themselves. I really don't think they are ready to do this, and I really can't say when they will be ready. If Wade Phillips is in as much denial about the team's performance as he appears in his PCs, I can't see us winning in Philly. And I can't say that Romo seems that interested in making the POs...

I agree that it can very much be business as usual on Sunday. Who knows judging by Wades lack of reality. Regardless, we win and we go to the playoffs. We lose, the Wade and Garrett show should be over. I want the playoffs bad and to win more, but an end to this cupcake and Ivey league football is quite the 2nd prize in my books.

Even when I trust Romo and that is not often regardless of December, and he plays well, the rest of the team looks nonchalant. When he stinks the rest of the team wants to play. Never both forces working together. Hopefully it starts on Sunday.

I agree. I think we beat the Eagles and then the Vikes. There is nothing more than I would like to go back to the Meadowlands and beat the Giants in the Divisional playoffs and exact revenge on them like they did to us last year.

The Eagles are 0-2, at home, in the division.

The Cowboys need to punish them.

I want to see Kevin Kolb.

you can throw all that crap out the window.

This will be about who wants it more and who matches up better. The eagles are going to have to listen to a week of you suck and how mcnabb is playing his last game.

So the first incompletion he throws they will be all over him.

I just love the matchup we have with them.

Stats don't win games, matchups, game planning and execution does with all the other variables like coaching, fans, weather and refs being added factors. That's why they play the game. It's something to be aware of though. They are a much different team to deal with at home and the numbers prove it.

People are dismissing the Eagles in the game because they think Tampa wins and Philly has no focus come game time. BS and you would think us fans and this team would learn not to under estimate opponents by now. I'm hoping come Sunday that is the case. This will not be a walk in the park despite what we think and everyone in this organization better be prepared.

Good point. Plus, our offensive line, Garrett, and Romo are very familar with Johnson's defense. The Steelers and Ravens were first time looks. I wish we would blow them out. The Cowboys owe them, big time. That Christmas Day game still bothers me.

I was watching Sheldon Brown play one game, and he looked slooow. Hixon had him burned on a deep post but dropped it. Dawkins has lost a step, too. I would like to get Austin on Brown or Samuel. Lito Sheppard, the Cowboys killer, is on the bench. Garrett needs to run incuts on Asante Sameul. Jason Witten or Bennett on Stewart Bradley is a good one, too.

You are right. We have some matchups in this game if Romo has the time to throw it. That will be key.

Agreed. Romo also needs to hot route the WR's to where the blitzing is coming from. That will get them to back off at times but Jim Johnson is so aggressive he's going to die by the blitz if that's what it comes down too. NYG and Philly play almost identical defenses as we know and hopefully Garrett has something to take with him from the NYG game.

Talking Trends....Cowboys not good in final games.

The Cowboys have not won a season finale since 1999 when they beat the New York Giants, 26-18, at Texas Stadium.

Since, then they're 0-8.

The last time the Cowboys won a road season finale? You have to go all the way back to 1995 when they beat Arizona, 37-13.

Yeah. Good points. Do you remember Romo hitting T.O. on the move on a hot read where Dawkins blitzed from? It was in last year's game at Philly. I think it was a TD. We actually threw a short pass and Owens got some YAC. I think it was a slant. The middle of the field was wide open.

Johnson is going to try to take Choice away. We may need to get him some screens. After Barber roasted them last year on check downs, they covered him up in the second game in Dallas.

Jason Garrett and Tony Romo must get the football to the WRs and TEs, and Tashard Choice needs 20-25 carries. If I had to chose one half where I could run it, I would want it to be the 2nd half if I could only run it one half. Dallas couldn't run the ball in the first half of the first matchup in Dallas. Barber's running in the second half and his receiving gave Romo breathing room.

Miles Austin
Patrick Crayton
Martellus Bennett
Jason Witten
Tashard Choice

These guys need to make it hurt.

At some point in this game, T.O. and Roy Williams have to be a factor.

Roy Williams has a 200+ yard game in that stadium.

Our corners can't take these guys lightly. With everything that is on the line, I don't think they will.

Kevin Burnett needs to put it on Westbrook, again.

Man I hope we can get this game. It seems the Cowboys always let games like this slip out of their hands.

Miles Austin has been wide open in a number of games and Romo has been unable to get him the ball. He has been able to get open -- they should use him more.

And although Witten is banged up, we need him to have a big game. And a sighting or two from RW11 would be great.

No huge names on their WR corps but they got 4 darn serviceable ones and Jackson can flat out fly, very dynamic. I think the secondary will hold up as long as we can get pressure and we should. McNabb always seems to get away from it just in time when we play him though.

Westbrook is always the key but what price do you pay to stop him? You're dead on, Burnett is gonna earn his salary Sunday.

Don't know what to expect out of us turnover wise other than what a fan would naturally hope. It's going to be a tussle regardless what happens in Tampa. See GB against CHI tonight. Talk about horseshoes, 4 leaf clovers and rabbits feet to be alive.

Unfortunately that has been the case. The past 3 seasons I'd say 7/10 times. Indy 3 years ago, GB last year and NYG 2 weeks ago I would say are the 3/10 we won. 3 from the last 3 years playoffs and the other 4 during regular season games. I guess we're fortunate to be in as many. Not sure.

Yah, just a screen shot of him would be great. I actually loved it when he looked right towards Garrett after the 2nd first down and got all hyped up letting him know to get the ball to him. Even T.O was smiling.

Here's a stat: Week 17 W-L record from 2000-2007

Dallas: 0-8 (0-2@home, 0-6 on the road)
Philly: 5-3 (3-2@home, 2-1 on the road)

I know, every year's different but that's almost as sickening a stat at the no playoff win since 1996.

They don't have to play a complete game...they may have to play as perfect a game as they have ever played.
