I was very impressed with our 3 man rush. While Lawrence carried the team, Maliek was able to get his own even while double teamed. I haven't seen us generate much of an interior rush in recent seasons and we may have something here.

Yes - it was nice to see MC hammer show up and be the disruptive force we expected him to be based on the flashes from his rookie season and all of the reports coming out of training camp. The first quarter of the season could likely finish up a not-too-shabby 3-1 (frankly I was expecting a loss when I first looked at the schedule), though we still need to get by an improved Rams squad. We get Irving back shortly and with a 3-headed monster of Law/Collins/Irving and our other role players it appears our DLine could be a force. Hopefully it gives this young secondary a chance to find its footing (and overcome the chronic hammy issues...sigh) and we're peaking at the right time during the home stretch of the season. Maliek is definitely going to benefit from all of the attention Dlaw will garner so he NEEDS to take advantage!

I am not a fan of a 3 man rush. Against good O lines we will not have the success we did last night. I think it will hurt us big time, because we won't be able to get to the QB.

I am salivating at the thought of a Collins, Irving, DLaw led pass rush.

No drooling!
