This receiving corp is way way too small. As for the entire team actually. Cook looks like a kid out there. CDee is really not that big either. If they start losing the next couple of weeks before the deadline, yes you have to trade some of your big stars for draft capital. Dump all the receivers including lamb for all the picks you can get. Lawrence, Tyron, get whatever you can. But jerry is not the poker player jimmy was. He was a master accumulating tons of picks. Might as well then get rid of dak and go with trey lance and give him the targets going forward......while parsons and diggs are still young enough for the transition.....
That's just deflecting blame. Last year it was speed we needed, we signed TY and Cooks = no discernable improvement. If we got a big receiver (how big do you want?) ,who'll probably have difficulty getting separation then the opposition will just assign a LB.

The common denominator is Dak's limitations (agree that the scheme's may not be the greatest, but we cant continue to apportion blame, if a QB is going to succeed in the play-offs he'll need to overcome adversity).

You're not wrong, if Brandin Cooks' arms were just six feet longer, he could have hauled in that out-of-bounds bomb while staying in.
Brandin Cooks.......Why is our small receiver expected to go deep to clear what, instead of being in the slot? OL don't hold up that long. Is there any hole in the coverage for Cooks to "sit" to move the chains? And Cooks is not like Eagles' Smith who complements AJ Brown. He don't need 50/50 balls. The WR Coach, TE Coach, and MM need to be in the room coming up with a "professional" scheme for a change.

My God, every year it's "Dak needs this, or Dak doesn't have that!" The problem is, what we do have, is Dak.

There is a reason that Cooks has bounced around the league. Dude is just too small. CeeDee is good but he so skinny just not physical enough against tough teams.

The receivers' size is not the issue.

Stop it.

no he doesn't he needs an offense to be schemed, designed, and called to utilize the talent they already have.
