In line for madden to come out at midnight, first tournement at 12:45am. Cowboys are going to be sick.

I stood in line for the new GTA but found it was worthless because I was so tired after i got it that i didnt even play it that night haha.

Madden is gonna be sweet but I sure hate Favre on the cover, ugh...

tear em up!

As a madden player myself who always plays with ever team I'd have to disagree with you. Even though a lot of players they have in the 90's theres certain things you must look at. Awareness that is the most important thing they shorted Romo on his awareness which lowers the skill level of the team by a lot. IDK how his throw power or accuracy is but the low awareness will dwarf it. IF you like to play with the boys then go right ahead however remember awareness > every other game attribute so when looking at your team look at skill players and their awareness.

Anybody with a high awareness the AI will over compensate for that player.

In line? Madden doesn't change enough from year-to-year to be worth standing in line.

I'm only buying Madden this year because I haven't played any Madden newer than 2006 and the only reason I played that was because a friend didn't want it anymore.

I figure that there have enough changes over the last 3 years to make it worth my money to buy this years version.

Standing in line.....Nope. Just going to Wal Mart at midnight.

the awareness doesn't matter for the qb you're gonna be controlling. the awareness is more important for your lines and defensive backs.

I sure hoped they improved the franchise mode, that is my favorite part. The 2008 franchise mode sucked compared to previous editions.

My .02

It makes a difference lower the awareness smaller the vision cone.

That's if you play with the vision cone. Most don't.

If you want to throw the best possible passes you would use it. It increases the QB ability a little more and plus there's directional passing in the game. IDK if you guys play with it off or have it on and just throw to a WR thats not in the cone. However cone is better than no cone.

I don't know, maybe you're right, but I think AWR is more important in your defensive players. If my QBs accuracy and throwing power are both 90+, I'm usually golden, awareness or no.

BTW, I checked out Romo's stats and his awareness is freaking 80. Brad Johnson? 84. Ridiculous.

just got back from getting the game. Ill let you know how it is soon :)
