In Matt Cassel's defense

The very small amount of hope I had for Cassel giving this team a couple wins before TR comes back pretty much evaporated when I watched him try to move this team into FG range in the last minute. That was as ugly as them come.

If it was time for a change after the NE game despite putting up plenty of points vs. Atlanta and N.O, it is certainly time for a change after two miserable performances vs. NY and Seattle. It's clear Cassel doesn't know the offense or the receivers well enough, and his arm is very suspect.

I think you go back to Weeden and hope he learned something the past two weeks, or you go to one of the other young guys, but we must put up points vs Philly while avoiding turnovers.

I think it is his arm as much as anything else. Watching Eli, Brees, Wilson they all have a tighter spiral, and velocity on the ball. At this point in his career Cassels passes look like punts :):)

Agree. No quick hitters to the sidelines to move the sticks. The Hawks looked like they were trying to prevent the longer passes with the depth they had guys sitting at, while still having enough to pressure the QB

Buffalo was going to cut this stiff for a reason. For them he was an expensive third string QB. Unfortunately. all Dallas has is 3rd string QBs behind Romo.
