There is becoming such a gap between 1 and 2 and then even bigger between 2 and 3 I'm confusing myself.

5.Glenn

*Caveat-this is based on Spencer leaving via FA otherwise Ingram gets pushed to back of the group.

5. OLB/DE Perry

1. David DeCastro, OG, Stanford

3. Cordy Glenn, OG, Georgia

5. Courtney Upshaw, OLB, Alabama

1. DeCastro
2. Glenn

Both of these players are young, talented day one starters in the NFL, and the Cowboys have zero business passing up a day one starter in the interior offensive line. Both players should be able to rank among the top 5 at their position in the years to come, so I think both are blue-chip players in this draft. Both players are solid "doubles" right out of the gate while the defensive players will be more boom or bust players at 14. Furthermore, if the Cowboys don't get a top guard at 14, they will not get a starter in this draft, imo.

It's not the position that should determine a player's draft value, it's the player's grade that should determine where he is drafted.

Last year, I had one player on my list at 9.

I would have Claiborne on the top but I see no way we get him.

1. DeCastro - I think he is a long time pro bowler that helps solidify the line for years.

2. Hightower - I think they like his leadership, onfield smarts and versatility in Rob's defense to play multiple roles.

3. Glenn - Could be our BIGG Davis at OG (when davis was good).

4. Kuechly - A Lee clone and how many times have we said if we had more players like Lee.

5. Poe - Big body NT to help solidify the line and give Ratliff more options.

And although I normally never want to draft someone with a drug problem and I doubt Jerry and Jason want to draft him...I have to admit part of me wants Jenkins because I think he is going to be a good one.

HM: Kirkpatrick

I should have mentioned Devon Still too, I'd probably have him in the same tier as Hightower or Kirkpatrick. There's not a lot seperating any of these guys, I'm pretty excited about the options we'll have at 14.
