I dont have issues with Hos or really anyone else in this place. I dont take this stuff as personally as some of you do. Maybe that is why I can post what I want, when I want, and not care how it is taken. I know I have ruffled some feathers, upset some folks, even made myself to be seen in a negative light on many occasions. But quite frankly, I dont care. This is a chat forum and nothing more. This is a way for me to offer my opinions and views........and even start discussions just to get people talking.
Other than BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1, this has been one of the best forums from a Mod standpoint. Hos is a good mod. He offers a lot of insight and at the same time, he doesnt stand over your shoulder like some hardcore dictator, imposing his will on your every post.
But I do agree with Bear........if Hos were to leave, this place would become a ghosttown quicker than a Cowboys December meltdown.

I for one almost never post anything but just enjoy reading all OPINIONS. Regardless what anyone thinks, what is written and read are just opinions, nothing more. Sure, some posters on this forum feel that their opinions are more like fact but they really aren't, unless it's actually Jerry, Wade or Jason doing the posting. Hos's posts along with several others on this forum are the things that I look forward to because of their insight, thoroughness, thought and genuine love of football and the Cowboys. Great reading whether you agree or not! Who cares? This should be a place for open ideas, opinions, comments, etc. I really can't imagine that anyone takes offense to anything said here, even though it does sometimes get to be more personal than necessary. I just read past these posting on move on to something more football oriented. Hos does a great job moderating this board and keeping it great fun for all of us. Because of the passion that exists for this site, it certainly appears that most of us look forward to reading each day the goings on in Cowboyland. I know I do. I would be very unhappy to have to find another board to go to because I can't imagine it being better than what we have here and Hos is a big part of that. All that being said, I don't anyone on this board personally, Hos included but I would miss many of you here if that opportunity wasn't afforded to me any more. Just my 2 cents....

If I ever step down as part of the staff here, I have already said I would not leave. I won't. I just get tired of the idea that the staff is not entitled to our opinions. Yes we are.
Yes, I miss Cbz40 really bad. Some of you turn to me in PMs just to shoot the breeze. I turned to him. I asked him to be my conscience here. That if I was ever out of line (that is easy for me to do) to pull my chain. He did. With kindness and great advice, he did. I think once the replica paver is delivered to his widow I will feel some closure.
I want to say this about the posters who "oppose" me in the debates. Thank you. No joke, thank you. Anyone who thinks I do not enjoy the heck out of it simply doesn't know me. Last night I woke up and read my thread about if the fans ran the team and my old friend TwoDeep3 left me a great response. I was too muddle headed (damned Nyquil) to reply, but I can't wait to do so. If anyone thinks TD3 and I are anything but friends, they would be wrong. I have to prepare for a funeral this morning or I would be answering that post right away. I will when I return.
I have made enemies here on the Internet and I know that. I offered to end some acrimony with one of them last week and he made it clear he prefers to hate me. That is fine with me. I really don't mind. It rather amuses me that he takes it that seriously.
I'm opinionated and sometimes I know controversial. I will purposely take opinions that I know others are passionate against. Someone has to. When I do, no one needs to feel the need to defend me. Doing so puts those posters in a bad light. Agreeing with me for some reason infuriates some people. Even when I make more sense than those I am arguing with.
And now, in fairness to those who don't want to read this kind of thread I am going to close it. If anyone wants to say something via PM that would be fine. Even if what you want to say via PM is nasty and accusatory. Please go ahead.
