I got news for ya, since Bobby C has been picked the Cowboys choices in the 1st round have not exactly been rocket science. I would venture a guess that 80% of this board got it pegged.

Slotting players is not player evaluation. Sure it takes knowledge of the players and the ability to recognize a teams needs and systems but it's not player evaluation.

If you don't like Watt thats fines but comparing him to Igor is crazy and absurd if your doing it just to display your disapproval of a player.

I dont know of anyone, even current NFL scouts that could draw the comparison between the two even if they were asked to

Corey Webster played at LSU although the OKS one stumps me. However, they have a big time receiver following Bryant and in the pipeline. The only Wisconsin DE (Erasmus James) who went in round one was a bust. At least, he is the only one that I can recall.

Watt could buck the trend and be the ultimate, but I'm not taking that gamble in the top 10 and I'm not even close to being sold on him being a true impact player. He wouldn't be the first work out warriior to be over drafted. He could be a solid 34 end, but he isn't a top ten talent, imo.

This is a link to a former NFL scout who thought Chris Long was a second round pick. Long went number 2 overall and hasn't played like a top 10 pick or number 2 pick.

Certain schools produce top NFL talent pretty consistent over time. What has Wisconsin produced in the NFL? Schools can produce great on defense or offense or at given positions.

When you draft in the top 10, you need a big impact player, not just a solid player who fills a need. JMO

I see where you're coming from with this 41, if some of those schools top prospects comes into the the league and doesn't pan out every other top prospect will carry that same label and it is unwarranted but that is how it is.

As far as Watt goes I really didn't see him play as much last season to get a better judgement on him but his combine was very good though and that is not to say he's going to blow the league away.

I don't see Dallas drafting Watt at #9, but for some reason I see Watt possibly being pick by the Pats that is just me though.

Osi Umenyiora came from Troy too and he's a top 10 pass rusher when he's healthy the only asterisk is that he plays for the Giants.

Great players can come from anywhere but the NFL teams just has to find them and thats an artform in itself.

Do a evaluation...........you claim you watched real tape and it was enough to make the comparison. All we are asking is for you to make an evaluation.

Why would he be better in a 4-3? Either you threw that against the wall hoping it would stick or you have a true evaluation to give.

You watched him in "REAL" live game film, this should be rather easy.
