Before today, only three times in NFL history had a team gained 500+ yards of total offense, outgained their opponent by 150+ yards in the process, won the TOP battle, scored at least 27 points and still lost the game

Today, it happened twice. Dallas and San Diego.

That is stunning (and pathetic)

Wow, where did you see that stat at? Thats pretty crazy.

Thid is a clear cut case of BEATING YOURSELF, but for what ever reason you guys seem to disagree

Wow, what a highly specific statement...how surprising it's so rare.

It is amazing both teams lost though. Ridiculous. We haven't been outplayed in a single game yet!!!!

Since Wade and Norv were hired, our teams have basically been opposing conference mirror-images of one another.

Not surprising... Both coaches involved in the debacles were candidates for the Cowboys HC position. Sadly, one of them got the job.

SD appears to be a team very similar to Dallas. They move the ball all over the field, but don't score enough points, and wind up making just enough mistakes to lose.

Not coincidentally, their HC is the guy perceived to come in 2nd in the sweepstakes to succeed Bill Parcells nearly 4 years ago.

Thanks ,

Time Of Possession! Not sure about SD but we lost the turn over battle which is usually deadly.

Edit: SD had 3 turnovers today as well.

Yep.

Both guys best suited to be coordinators.

Imagine if you could get a real HC with these guys as the coordinators.

Still, we outgained Tenn by 190 yards and SD outgained Oakland by 250 yards. That should be more than enough to win in spite of a few TOs.

Not surprising really. The Chargers and the Cowboys are the two most underachieving teams in the NFL the last several years. Not sure what the parallel is, but they are both underachievers.

Undisciplined coaching

Dallas and SD have both been in the top 8 in penalties and turnovers every year Wade and Turner have been there

The Parallel is Jerry had these 2 clowns as his final choices for our coach. They are like the mirror images of each other.

We outgained the Commanders, bears and Titans by alot.

The to's killed us in every one of those games.

Jerry normally is the main cog in our link to mediocrity. At least over the past 15 years.

He is still making millions, which is ok by him.
