Inexplicable and Unbelivable, but we have the #1 Offense

To my mind that just makes all the penalties and poor play calling even worse. If the offense can do that much with all these mistakes...

11th in total points though...420 yds should translate to about 30 points :bang2:

Make of it what you will, but part of our 11th in total points is are red zone inefficiency... I think Barber's injury has a huge impact on that... before he got hurt vs NY, we were 5-6 in the redzone, since he got hurt we are 2-9! I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin'

Listen pal, I gotta laugh to keep from crying.

Big games to me are:

1) Beating good teams.
2) Beating teams in your division, ie Giants, Commanders, Eagles.
3) Beating a team to get into the playoffs.
4) Winning a playoff game and beyond.

I realize every win is important but beating a team that sucks is not a moral victory, it's just taking care of business. Barely beating a crappy team is like showing the world your ***....

Because, of course, no other 'good team' has ever struggled during the season, barely winning against an inspired bad team. Certainly, they have never lost to one!

Sure, it wasn't a thing of beauty, but one more 'bad win' like this would have put us in the playoffs last year.

It is what it is. A win.

And with Denver's performance today, last weeks game should be in a bit better perspective....

Wait a minute I thought Garrett sucks? No? Does't Garrett run the most simplistic system in all of NFL?
This offense is getting yards on talent alone. They have then been killing themselves because they are idiots. I just don't get it.

Garrett DOES suck.

Do you realize that good teams barely beat bad times sometimes? And sometimes even...gasp lose to bad teams?

I am not saying Dallas is even a good team at this point, but your assertion is plain wrong.

It is not unusual for good teams to lose or have a nail biter to a bad team.

So since the ending to this story has not been written yet, just be glad they won. It could prove to be a meaningful win when it is all said and done.

Something about calling a draw play from your own 2 yard line just screams idiot.

are you saying the chiefs game wasn't a must win? the season would not be over if we were 2-3? i realize the chiefs are probably the worst team in the past decade, but they gave us all we could handle and we pulled it out. how is that not a big game?

The Lions just called and they want their title back. How dare you throw that honor around so easily.:D

The sky must be falling but look who has a better rating than the BEST QB in the NFL:

think the lions were in quite a few games last year. i think the chiefs are 2-28. tied for the worst 30 game stretch in history.

Your post claimed the Chiefs were the worst team of the past decade. That is simply blatantly false. Until the past 3-4 years, the Chiefs were a contending team actually. The Lions have sucked for decade(s).

No. Not exactly, the season goes on win or lose. In reality it's not a big game.

Yes. Yes. O rly? However we have been playing poorly all season and your assertion is that is is the 1st time we do this.

True, it could be..

i don't mean the franchise. i meant this particular group of players(team....). that other kc team had trent green, priest holmes, and tony gonzalez. not to mention a beastly offensive line. the chiefs have been the one of the worst teams the past 3 years. they actually improved in some areas this year and are even worse somehow.

No doubt this team takes an unfair amount of criticism,, but the bottom line is that they are incredibly sloppy and continue to beat themselves year after year after year,,, they are not improving and THAT is why so few people are happy with this win over the lowly Chefs.

...you're missing the point...this game should'nt have even been close...this win has all the satisfaction of spam on stale wheat bread [if that's your thing]...Dallas will take it and won't apologize for it and that is the attitude they must have, but i think they all know that they dodged a bullet today, considering their serial attempts to undermine themselves...

it didn't matter that it shouldn't have been close. it was and romo won it(while playing very well). maybe yall are talking about dallas as a whole. i'm talking about romo winning big games. i still think we are an average team, don't worry.

What I find funny is, it doesn't matter who the opponent is, the Cowboys are in the game to the last second.

Bucs, Broncos, Panthers, Giants, or even the ****ty Chiefs. The Cowboys have the talent, they just perfer to suck just enough to make it a game with whoever they are playing.
