- Dak got a bit sharper as the game wore on. Hopefully he rounds into some sort of form here in the next game.

- Williams is becoming a player as an edge player. T Smith has his struggles today and was up and down, but if he develops and Williams keeps progressing, we hit a HR with this draft.

- The WRs are frustrating at times. But then they come up with some big catches. Gallup had a big drop. I get flipping over but Brown can't fumble the ball in that spot. But then he had some key catches later and Lamb had a couple of nice grabs as well, including some in traffic.

- Any time a team needs a big third and long, they seem to go after Brown who is playing 17 miles off a guy.

- After a few games where we had penalties under control, they start to be creeping back.

This defense is a unit to lean on. We should be running 30+ times every game with the security this defense offers

Unfortunately, in this league, you can't be that way. Because when you get into the playoffs you are going to run into some teams that are gonna score on you. This team has to be able to make plays in the passing game. Trying to grind games to a halt running 35 times a game is not a recipe for long term success IMO.

That doens't mean abandon the run either.

Hutchinson is a player, both our Tackles struggled against him. Biggest disappointment was our 3rd and short offense.

Any reasonable person would know Dak would be rusty. He got into a rhythm and look a lot better the last 2 quarters.

Play calling is still an issue during key times of the game. Moore gets away from the run when they're killing others

Run defense and Moore are still two issues that linger from last year. Both might do this team in come January

Junior needs to be replaced at years end as OC....Gallup does not create ANY space to operate in....sooooo stupid resigning him.

I just can't realistically expect anyone to hold on to that ball Brown fumbled. That was just a ridiculous hit by the defender.

I will never understand why KM doesn't get this. When we rush 27+ times we do well. When we don't we usually lose.

The problem here isn't the number of runs. It's how successful you are running it.

If we run 35 times in a game and average 3 yards per carry, guess what? We are probably going to lose.

We won, so let's all go home and eat a big dinner and watch ESPN tonight

Practice hard and get ready for the Bears on my Birthday weekend

Offense has to better than 10 points and 225 yards for 3 quarters to beat playoff level teams. Defense and Goff being Goff are two big reasons they won.
