It was a mixed performance in my view…

The defense clamped down in the Lions offense in the 2nd half. Our run defense needs to improve a lot if we want to make a deep playoff run, or even win the division.
The offense has to do better on short-yardage and 3rd down situations. Also need to cut down on the penalties. I, like many others, expected Dak to be rusty and he was, but started to find rhythm in the 2nd half. Seemed like our WRs had a hard time getting separation; Dak was throwing into coverage a lot. We need to be a power running team; we have a power o-line; and when we were running the ball with authority we were running it up the gut of the defense. Don’t know what KM is thinking or what he is seeing.
At any rate…a win is a win. This is going to be a tight division and conference this year.
