Injuries are killing the Defense

Have missed significant playing time, or are out for the season.

It's nice to say next man up, but the above players were Starters because they were the best at their position.
To expect back ups to play at the same level is unreasonable.

The defense is in serious trouble with this loss of talent.

Quinn is a great coach but not a miracle worker.

Buckle up, the ride is about to get extremely bumpy.

Very true!

It's not going to get better anytime soon either. This team went from being a contender to a team I just don't think has a realistic chance. I'm not sure this is a championship level defense any more.

The only thing that is unreasonable is to use those injuries as excises. Injuries happen to all teams every year. You either have good enough players in reserve to carry on or you fold up shop and go home. The Cowboy way is to spend all the resources on a few shiny trinkets. When the trinkets break you pack up shop and say how good you would have done if not for the bad luck. Our trinkets are breaking and Bossman Fat is not going to save the day.

True, our front office is responsible for adding quality depth.

Pass rush—Lawrence, Fowler, Williams, Golston and occasional DBs like Wilson and Kearse
Run stoppage with Watkins, Big Bo, Gallimore and Odighizuwa

It’s kinda tough to get to the QB when the QBs don’t have to go through any reads and just look to whoever bossmanfat is guarding. It’s like a short passing game to stop the pass rush except it’s TDS being given up.

Brown going out is definitely the biggest injury IMO. Joseph is really terrible and seems like an immature guy on top of it.

You are right but injuries are a part of the game and you either adapt or collapse.

So far the Cowboys chose the latter.
