Has he ever been injured playing in the NFL? no, not injury prone.

Nobody wants to play the semantics game.
Show me where I said he was injury prone? It's pretty obvious I've been talking about the risk of the pick and the games he didn't start, but still got a fat contract. It's ok to have an opinion.

Injuries happen because of your body not being ready to be put into those positions. 100% zero camp snaps attributed to the injury.
Injuries to bones are likely regardless. Bone dont get more strong by working out. Muscles do.

No, we need a real football guy as our GM who can make the cold hearted decisions on players.
I dont know how many thousands of times people feel the need to make this same point over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over

As this years list of injured players continues to mount, it seems common to act like injuries are unique to us and that other teams rarely have to contend with injuries. We know that is a false assumption.

Let's not forget that our "GM" loves to draft players with a history of college football injuries. In fact, here are the players on the defensive side of the ball (including last season) with a dubious injury history that Jerry insisted on drafting.
  1. Jaylon Smith - No GM in their right mind would have signed him except Jerry. His first two seasons were lost and he only played well one season. It's another instance where Jerry signed a player he liked, regardless if it made the roster better.
  2. Leighton Vander Esch - Neck injuries (had in college) continue to be concerning and we should have drafted the Alabama linebacker instead.
  3. Sean Lee - We got such a draft-day "steal" when in fact our "GM" ignored his injury history. Lee rarely played a full season and missed at least one complete season. Another instance of drafting an often injured player.
  4. DLaw - Continues to be injury-prone and unfortunately has experienced a drop in play after receiving his fat contract.
So let's not pretend that our organization functions like any of the other 31 teams. Our injury issues are compounded by Jerry's insistence on drafting players with a history of injuries. That is compounded by not being able to successfully draft in the later rounds which produce quality backups. Our backups are either totally new or has-beens that are recruited from Home Depot or from players that remain unsigned (for good reason) lol. There's a lot wrong with this franchise and injuries and a lack of quality backups are symptoms of having a non-football "GM" that has little time to invest in being a GM.
All football players on all teams are injury prone.

Well practicing in a resort like atmosphere every summer doesn't help either. Not to mention babying the players in preseason. So we rested them so they wouldn't get hurt and here we are. Not to mention the owner trade marking the team versus getting a team ready for the season. Oh but you say. That's the coaches job. Now you realize the problem:facepalm:

The Cowboys aren’t hit by injuries anymore than any other team this year.

If i have to explain it. Its not worth my time. Hes missed 0 time since he came back from injury. So calling him injury prone is non sensical.
Lol, yeah, I get it and that wasn't my point. I never said he was injury prone. Not once. I was simply discussing the time he did miss.
Do you understand now or do you need further explaining?

His statement was”since he came back from his injury” and it’s true
Since recovering from his injury in college he hasn’t missed a game
Yeah, I know. I apologize to everyone that expects the conversation to only steer in the thread title direction. Holy Christ.

Simply pointing out that we draft players w injury issues that most other teams pass on. This makes us more prone to these players getting injured.

You should have eliminated the word injury prone, it would have stopped a crap-ton of whining that Jaylen isn't injury prone.
