What was Dez's injury, anyway? Sorry, I could not see the game.

Dez got a deep thigh bruise following the punt return. Then he became very dehydrated and received an I.V. So he was very limited following the first quarter.
With all the secondary injuries, I think the team was a little slow at pulling the plug on Dez with some of the other receivers.

I had a deep thigh bruise when I played and was back on the field in two days. Of course, let's not kid ourselves. I was a finely tuned 175 lb beast. Dez???![]()

One thought on Jenkins ... how many times can one player get hurt in a single game?

I will actually go on the record and say that I'm not too sure we actually need to get Newman back right away. The young guys stepped up in a huge way. Jenkins looks in Pro Bowl form, Scandrick was great until he sprained his ankle, and McCann is a gamer. Even Alan Ball was in position more then 80% of the time. Not a bad showing by the secondary.
