Left guard candidate Chaz Green has a minor ankle sprain but not clear when he will practice. Cornerback Duke Thomas has a high ankle sprain as well as a sprained medial collateral ligament.

Chaz is marshmallow. Not a football player. No talent in the world will cover his being a poof.
This should be his last year with the team, if at all feasible. Not an ounce of toughness to a guy who's in one of the TOUGHEST positions in all of football.

It's a damn shame he is so soft. Kid isn't crazy talented. Easily one of our top 5 OL. But if he can't be trusted then he can sit. Cooper will be just fine at LG

Tough break for Thomas. I liked what I saw.

Green? Not surprised

Hitchens ... best news possible. Was very doom and gloom last night.

Great post and GREAT news about Hitch! I was fishing all day (went well btw...caught a nice freshwater drum and two northern pike) and just saw this. Best we could hope for with Anthony. We'll get him back. I think we go 5-3 or even 4 those first 8 games. Good news is we get healthy and get every one back and go 7-1 in the second half of the season. I think we will close well and close hard. Quite a few guys that screwed up and need to make amends. I'm thinking most of them will.

He was going against Mack!!! He gets tons of RTs to get penalties. Though I thought 1-2 of those penalties were bad calls.
The Collins fallout from last night has been interesting to watch. Insane slate of talent he'll be lining up against this year and I thought he was fine in the first test. The penalties were unfortunate and at least one of them was a bad call, but to hear people talking about it you'd think he was letting free rushers by all night.

Chaz Green stayed down on the turf after that play because of a minor ankle sprain?

I used to think he was just really unlucky, but I'm starting to think the dude is actually just soft.

They kept talking about how he gets dehydrated all the time and needs a gatoraide by his side at all times.....he's soft. Where is the asthma field when you need it??!!

I liked what I saw too. And one hands to the face was a blatant bad call. As was that hold where the guy fell down and Collins fell on top of him.

I'll take a game like he had any day. And he's only going to get better.
