Insane Miles' stat.

#1 in YPG. How about Lloyd....dude is saving my fantasy season. (I have him and Miles)

What the hell is Brandon Lloyd doing leading the league in receiving?

Also, TO is old and washed up -- has lost a step. /ignorance

Posted this article in the daily zone. Here are some more stats that you might enjoy from the article...

Sunday's game against Tennessee was the 16th for Austin since he became a focal point of the Cowboys' passing offense, and his statistics are staggering:

107 catches

1,713 yards

12 touchdowns

In a single season, no Cowboys receiver had more yards. Only four have had more in a season in league history. In Cowboys history, only Michael Irvin had more catches (111 in 1995), and only Terrell Owens, Frank Clarke and Bob Hayes had more touchdowns.

Me too! I picked up Lloyd in both of my leagues. The WRs in the league with Miles and Lloyd on my team are saving me. If you end up winning this year, you'll always remember that pick-up. I won both of my leagues a few years ago and Cotchery was that guy for me. You never forget it.

On to the main topic. The guy's name should be Miles Awesome. You've gotta love him.

Wouldn't THAT be cool...

Nothing like smacking the smarmy Jerry Rice down. Let's just hope Austin can have a career like Rice...

What's also amazing about Austin is he racks up these accumulative totals without being force fed targets or requiring that the offense be funneled through him. The Cowboys only target him on 23% of their pass attempts, only 19th most among NFL receivers and tight ends.

Austin would put up mind boggling stats if the Cowboys force fed him targets and receptions the way Arizona does Fitzgerald (34% of their pass attempts) Atlanta does Roddy White (33% of their pass attempts), Miami does Brandon Marhsall (33% of their pass attempts) or the way Cincy does TO (31% of their pass attempts).

That's what I love about Miles and what makes him unique from a lot of other #1 WRs .. he can just get his production within the flow of the offense without having to stop everything down and force things so "Miles can get his". I hate the Antoine Walker types of WRs ... guys who get 22 points at the end of the night, but jacked up 11 for 32 shooting to get there.

we are also on track for a 4-12 season, if you look at it that way.

Nice contextual stat.

At least we can all enjoy watching Miles. The guy busts his butt, he's not the problem on this team & he's not a diva. He takes his catches as they come to him w/o complaints and still stacks up really good numbers. Sure I would to see him with good numbers, cause that at least means our offense is making a game of it. Just image how good our offense would be with a real OL, a good running game & a good, experienced OC combined with a coaching staff not led by Wade.

Lloyd has never been a consistent player, but going back to his days in SF, he's made some of the most amazing catches imaginable.

Austin is absolutely amazing. I'm glad that I was wrong last offseason and they didn't try and trade him for a two.

That catch he made on his 69 yard TD Sunday was a thing of absolute beauty.
