Insane Miles' stat.

Miles is probably and should be the best receiver in the league when it's all said and done at the end of the season.

Since Miles has been the starter, week 5 last year, every stat says differently.

Do your burnt offerings to Miles Austin come in the crispy or EXTRA crispy variety?

Dude I have my opinion and you have yours... That's the beauty of it!

I'm not going to argue because of how many times i've said that. although people continued to call me out on it lol

What's also amazing about Austin is he racks up these accumulative totals without being force fed targets or requiring that the offense be funneled through him. The Cowboys only target him on 23% of their pass attempts, only 19th most among NFL receivers and tight ends.

Austin would put up mind boggling stats if the Cowboys force fed him targets and receptions the way Arizona does Fitzgerald (34% of their pass attempts) Atlanta does Roddy White (33% of their pass attempts), Miami does Brandon Marhsall (33% of their pass attempts) or the way Cincy does TO (31% of their pass attempts).

That's what I love about Miles and what makes him unique from a lot of other #1 WRs .. he can just get his production within the flow of the offense without having to stop everything down and force things so "Miles can get his". I hate the Antoine Walker types of WRs ... guys who get 22 points at the end of the night, but jacked up 11 for 32 shooting to get there.

That's true Inman, but do those teams throw as often as Dallas? How does Austin stack up against those guys in the number of targets per game.

And why'd you have to ruin a friendly discussion of one my favorites by bringing up Antoine Walker?:puke:

Imagine when Dez comes along.

It's going to be a constant destruction of 88 & 19 all season long. Romo might throw for 5000 yards when that happens with TWO 1000-yard, 10-TD guys.

Actually, he may do it this year, with the way Williams has been playing.

I would love if someone could goback and look whos getting #2 and whos getting #3 coverage when both Williams and Bryant are on the field. This would say if hes playing great as everyone proclaims, or he is just exploiting weak #3 coverage people.

I love Miles Austin! I have his jersey.

I was disappointed that Primetime left him off his Top 10 WRs list.

What are you talking about? Williams is on a pace to go over 1000 yards this season. The question is, will he continue to play at this level.

I think Roy will have 1,000 yards this year with 8 or 9 TDs... I'll be happy with that production!
