Every Sunday morning, Jane Slater host a show Inside The Huddle. From House of Blues from Dallas.
She interviews one of the players or coaches.
Today she has Michael Gallup on. He seems pretty low key, humble friendly guy.
He said there were 8 kids, so always something fun going on. He played 4 sports in high school.
Though a few his older siblings had cars, he never had a car as his own, until he was drafted.
Said his twitter followers went from around 9,000 to 30,000 as soon as he was drafted.
Said it hit him for the 1st time he was in the NFL. At the 1st practice in TC, when he came out and all these fans were cheering. It wasn't like it was just a few reporters while at college.
Jane does a great job on this show, plus she is easy on the eyes to look at.
Said Cedric Wilson and him are good friends. Rivals in Jr. College, and against Boise st., then they end up on Dallas. But they played against each other long before the NFL.
This is a show to get to know the players, not a show about wins or losses. So it is refreshing from that standpoint.
