I agree 100 percent. As someone who has had that addiction and been down that road, as i said, i wouldnt wish it on my worst enemy. Michael Irvin seemed to be ok however. Didnt seem to hinder his production. The guy was doing lines in the locker room at halftime. LOL
He may have looked okay on the field, but there was a cost beyond the gridiron.
Nevertheless, there's hope even when people sink to their lowest (of course, I can't talk fully about it per the forum's rules), and that's why I try not to write people off and try not to look down on others who aren't where I am. But for the grace of God ...
No one is too far gone that he/she can't be redeemed, and, thankfully, you're a testimony to that and have a story that I can't come close to touching/sharing in terms of life experience.
