And a few who have obviously overly partaken. There's a few on here that probably need to partake.

Hopefully he's smart enough to quit if that happens.
I don't care what any of our players do on their own time, just bring it on Sundays...and if you get caught, then you have to pay...
I bet you're wrong.
Ya...here's judgmental for ya
1) Ive never done drugs
2) Make them legal
3) I dont care if anyone does them
Whew, the judgment, it burns.
He partakes, I'd bet on it lol. This is a minor PR problem and not a drug problem.
Not so say he doesn't also partake. Only that, if he does, he's not going to buy it walking in publicly to a large dispensary while people are taking pictures.
He partakes, I'd bet on it lol.
So you never have had caffeine, or popped a Tylenol?? But dem aren't drugs because the government says its' ok..yaddyyadda
This text exchange, coupled with the Seattle visit, may be enough to put Elliott in the league’s substance-abuse program. Players do not necessarily have to fail a drug test to enter Stage 1 (intervention) of the program.
According to the league’s policy on substances of abuse, which was agreed upon with the NFLPA, players are subject to enter the program based on “behavior.”
The policy states: “Behavior (including but not limited to an arrest or conduct related to an alleged misuse of Substances of Abuse occurring up to two (2) football seasons prior to the Player’s applicable scouting combine) which, in the judgment of the Medical Director, exhibits physical, behavioral, or psychological signs or symptoms of misuse of Substances of Abuse.”
I think him saying hes going to spend 24 hours in a sauna may be enough for the league. Kind of insinuates hes trying to beat the test. Its all how its perceived. If he played for the Giants i wouldnt be as worried. Its quite funny though, considering THC is stored in your fat cells, the sauna wouldnt help. AT ALL.No, the league doesn't have any grounds to mandate EE enroll in the league's substance abuse policy. Just because his girlfriend sent a text saying she hopes he passes his drug test doesn't mean EE is guilty of smoking pot. It could be that she's trying to set him up.
There is no recorded "behavior" that EE smokes weed. Do I believe he has? Yes. But we have no record of him doing so, and because we don't, the league can't just decide based on a text that he should enroll in its substance abuse program.
Sorry, but it doesn't work that way.
At the end of the day, i dont understand why these guys will do a drug that stays in your system so long. Its not like they dont have the money to do cocaine, which is only in your system for 48 hours depending on how heavy a user you are. Im not saying i want these guys addicted to coke, we have been down that road lol and i wouldnt want that addiction for even my worst enemy. Im just saying, they have the money. No, the league doesn't have any grounds to mandate EE enroll in the league's substance abuse policy. Never had a beer?I think you just said it. Coke is far more addictive and has greater negative consequences associated with it.
Be that as it may, I've never done hard drugs or even soft drugs like marijuana. I just don't see the appeal. And I guess God blessed me with the wisdom to understand the consequences associated with drugs. I don't want those consequences for me or my family.
The Devil's fun always comes wrap in consequence-free pleasure, but when it's time to pay, he's an exacting taskmaster who collects on his debts, and that quite painfully.
I agree 100 percent. As someone who has had that addiction and been down that road, as i said, i wouldnt wish it on my worst enemy. Michael Irvin seemed to be ok however. Didnt seem to hinder his production. The guy was doing lines in the locker room at halftime. LOLI think you just said it.
