I stopped reading the article when they where bashing hall but then say he is Chad Johnson on defense,,,,,

you didnt miss much alot of these guys just have to have an article each other day or so or else they get yelled at by their editors so that alone should explain alot of the crap we see often

How am I supposed to take an article seriously when it doesn't even mention our starting right corner, Anthony Henry?

Adam Jones, if he gets fully reinstated, will challenge to be our nickel corner on the outside when Terence Newman covers the slot on passing downs and the story reads like it's just him and T-New in Big D.

Jones hasn't played the game in over a year, so why act like it's a given that he will be on the field with Newman?

No mention of Amp or first round selection Mike Jenkins.

Weak.

I was thinking the same thing. They didn't however forget to mention the Eagles trio of Samuel, Brown, and Sheppard.

Lame.

Good points about Pacman......but, our return game is significantly better then last year

I think it's senseless to have this type of ranking unless you consider the entire defense. Everyone knows that pass coverage is often affected by how well/poorly the front 7 play. If they can apply pressure, it doesn't matter, to some extent, who you have in the secondary. Case in point: did the Giants have a premier secondary last year? Certainly not. But their front 7 were dominant and took pressure off the secondary.

You also have to take into account help from the safeties. We don't need to go down that road, because there has been plenty of discussion regarding the Cowboys' safety situation.

IMO, when Henry and Newman are healthy, they are an incredible tandem at corner. But, we haven't had them both 100% healthy the last two seasons.
