Not sure how to post directly from Instagram.

No reason Dez posts this without confirmation he’s staying.

I certainly hope he was being truthful about #3. Will have to see it to believe it though.

As the Cowboys read free agency this year - Dez is staying.

That's definitely what it looks like to me.

Take a look at what some "disappointments" and "never was" receivers got paid yesterday. Truly ridiculous.

Specifically, Sammy Watkins and Paul Richardson. Watkins is getting $16 million a year and has never come close to Bryant-level production, and Richardson got $20 million guaranteed? Terreance Williams is an absolute steal compared to that.

Based on yesterday's insanity, our receiving group looks much better today.

And if you have any intention of winning anything in 2018, and getting a fair evaluation of your team and coaches, you can't cut Dez Bryant at this point.

I don’t know something just feels weird to me I can’t put my finger on it. Stephen Jones has been very cryptic about Dez’s status and you can see through the draft process and the news about Sammy Watkins yesterday that there is a concerted effort to make a change there.

I may very well be wrong but I can’t shake the suspicion that Dez is in play here

If they could have gotten a contract redone way earlier with Dez then the Cowboys would have been lucky.

With the $$$$$ spent in FA on average WR's - no way anything get's done.

I was all aboard the Dump Dez train last week, but yesterday's activity that basically took all the vet WRs off the market was pretty sobering.

It would be monumentally stupid for the Cowboys to move on now without a quality replacement.

And no, a rookie just won't cut it. It would be a disaster.

Even worse, it could be used as yet another excuse to keep Garrett and this staff around past this year.

"Well, without a true #1 receiver, how could we possibly evaluate the job that Jason and his staff did on offense?"

I got the same feeling but all of that was before they got a whiff of the receiver market yesterday.

I do think we draft someone and it could even be in the first but they’ll be Dez’s replacement in 2019, not 2018. Much like Dez was drafted to be Roy Williams’s replacement.

I don't understand the boards seeming preoccupation with the WR position. Until Dak proves that he can deliver the football more than 10 yards down field with accuracy , what does it matter? Every single pass catcher we had in 2017 had a down year. In the NFL it is rare and usually the result of a defensive breakdown when a wr in so open that a QB has time to see him, plant, and throw. Qb's have to anticipate WRs coming open and throw the ball to spots on the field. Norv Turner had to explain to Aikman what "NFL open" looks like. Someone needs to have that convo with Dak or its not going to matter who we have outside.

i'd imagine that they intended to see what moves could be made, and go from there. then sammy watkins got paid more than dez with a laughable body of work and injury history. then allen robinson got paid coming off an acl injury. then ryan grant got 30 mil from the ravens, and they quickly realized that the landscape had changed drastically over night, and that they had no moves or leverage.
