maybe as a college coach...but Meyer would not even be remotely succesful in the NFL

I disagree. He's a winner and his teams are ready to play in the big games and have a killer instinct. Yes, there would be a learning curve to make jump into the pros, so he would need the right situation and some time. At the end of the day, football is football.

and a nintendo offense is still a nintendo offense

it wont work in the NFL, and niether would he

I am not an OU fan at all, but I could see Fla losing to them next week and the shine will come off Meyer's little star a bit I would suspect

he's really only coached in two big games because they had a mediocre year last yr...and both of those "big games" he had the superior talent on the field by far...

We'll, you're wrong. The spread option wouldnt be even remotely effective in the NFL.

OK. So if he wins next week, his star will shine brighter.

I think he would be smart enough to bring a pro style offense to the pros.

we'll see...OU is better than Alabama and Ohio State were by a pretty significant margin...I think Florida's season is somewhat a product of a down SEC

It has nothing to do with smarts. He's never run anything else. You can't just decide one day you're going to change your outlook on offense and expect a flawless transition.

The guy would be lost in a pro-style system

He knows nothing about it though.

He doesnt bring anything to the table in terms of being a pro coach. His teams arnt even disciplined, they are always getting alot of penalties.

If he comes to the NFL, he'll be fired or resign under pressure by season two. I dont think we'll ever see it though, because I dont think anybody will ever hire him in the NFL.

just shows that Las Vegas bought into the hype as much as the media and some fans did...they missed on that one, bad

OSU was not more talented than Florida, and it was obvious on the field...then OSU came back a yr later and got whalloped again
