qb - wrs do that all the time.. and if Lamb flatten route stays full speed he can get there i say he could maybe its incomplete, but he gets there first collision catch ball hits ground, Sorry but sometimes you should trust your WR to go get one. Its called 50-50 ball

since when is that NEW!!!???!!!! oh only when dak throws it ,has his wr hesitate not flatten route, drift, and its INT, sorry the consensus so far from fans and media watching that play in all angles and speeds is 60-40 it was the ER fault. so play call 25% at fault, throw 15%- wr 60% at fault. Plenty of blame. its lie the final 9er paly dak getting heat for a questionable play call, for ref not being alert and jogging in that situation where same week ram's gam same thing happens But an UP Ref goes and sets it.. always on dal from dak haters,

next.. we won by 20 still trying to find fault in daks last 2 games back from broken throwing hand where he what 75% comp% 4 td, 1Rush Td 1 INt and a win by 18 and 20 around 113 qbr LMAO

this is why fans cant stand other fans who expect certain players under certain contract to be phreaking perfect. its gets old..
I think that ball is less than 50-50, but regardless my entire point is why do even a 50-50 ball at that point in the game? You're about to go in the half up by multiple possessions and in total command over an inferior team. Yes, Lamb should have ran a tighter route and at very least that is an incomplete pass, but why risk it? I think that's a play that if you get a wide open look you take it, if not you check it down. Dak got the backers to bite on the underneath route like he was hoping, but the S was right there and breaking on the ball.

To be honest I'm not even bashing Dak. I've said multiple times that Dak was nearly perfect this game. Aside from this play and missing a wide open Gallup in the endzone he really didn't make mistakes. The fact that you can't even discuss 1 play that is highly debatable or you are labeled a Dak hater is ridiculous.

Had a few people argue with me that the Int was on Dak. When it was on Lamb. I explained Dak was throwing that ball to a spot where Lamb was supposed to be( a timing route) it was a doggone good throw.
We've seen this from Lamb a couple times this year and also heard Jerry talk about wr needing to be in the right places last season. At the 17:25 mark IS breaks down the Int play

Dak played a good game, but that throw was dumb! It was very risky and let Chicago right back in the game. That interception was NOT Lambs fault.

You should take the L on this one. You said he would get snapped up quickly the moment we got rid of him. He wasn’t. And then when he got an OC job he quickly bombed out there.

He’s now doing ND games on NBC and frankly isn’t all that good there either. He’s kind of blah.

No I shouldn't, because I didn't say he would get snatched up. ...lol

That was most definitely on Lamb, Cowboys had an aggressive plan there and Lamb bowed out.

Yeah you did. You said we might regret letting him go and that he would likely find himself a job pretty quickly because he was a good coach. You argued with multiple people on this board, claiming Garrett was actually a really good coach.

He wasn't a good coach. The market confirmed that. And he couldn't even hold down an OC job before getting shipped off to do college games on NBC.

Lol I should have finished the thread before saying something. Dont want to pile on @LovinItAll for forgetting about a guy that played a year and a half here
I still got one of His autograph jersey cards that were an insert in a pack . . . immensely talented headcase . . . He couldn't handle Parcels

Find it son, never said we'd regret letting him go because someone would pick him up. What I did say is we might nor like who they got to replace him, and until this season most here hated Mike. You must have been dreaming.

1. Ceedee ran a bit of a lazy route and was a step too late coming out of the break
2. Dak threw it to what he perceived as the right spot assuming a successful route
3. Dak should have checked down to the TE and picked up an easy 7-8 yards
It was the correct read to throw the in-cut to CeeDee. It was a possible TD if CeeDee runs the route correctly, big play regardless. So no, Dak is not suppose to thow the check-down when the OC's play worked.

As someone who does not have a pro/anti-Dak agenda, I can easily say this was caused by two things ..

1) Lamb altered his route after his cut and if you look, Dak had already released the ball before Lamb altered his route so it was Lamb's fault.
2) It was not a smart throw to make so despite it not being his fault for the interception, Dak should not have made that throw.

You are wrong on 2. Of course he's suppose to throw that route. As Stanback called it, it's the perfect cover 2 beater. Kellen called that play for that very reason. It was there, CeeDee blew it.

Guys need to understand. If CeeDee covers the face of the safety, he is not going to get hit by that safety. The safety is going to watch CeeDee's dust possibly on the way to the endzone. 100% CeeDee's fault. Kellen made the correct play call against a cover 2 and Dak made the correct read.

I tried to explain that Sunday. Then even post Isaiah Stanback saying the same thing and they still want to argue....lol

So to be clear, you were not a Garrett apologist? Even before he was fired, you weren’t making excuses for him and that you never argued with people who said he should be fired?

Just trying to get an understanding of what you think your position on Garrett was.

Yes I supported Garrett. Never said I didn't. I never said we would regret letting him go as you said. Never said Ihe would be picked up right away.

I have my issues with Dak but I don't necessarily blame him for the pick. If he's being aggressive and getting the offense over 30 points I can live with an occasional INT...as long as it's not a pick 6. So he went a little greedy. Routes aren't always exact and windows aren't always open. He's usually so risk averse that the offense can at times grind to a halt. Some of this has been Moore but he can audible. So I think the struggle for him as he comes into what is supposed to be the best play of his career is walking that fine line of aggression and caution. Romo had to learn this as well. Don't try to do too much but don't let the offense sink when things are not well.

Dak was not greedy. It was the play that was called and it was the correct read. He did everything the coaches wanted him to.

This is what happened, Lamb rounded the route off, Dak maybe shouldve have went low inside to keep Lamb alive though.
Still I think that throw had no business , it should be where Lamb should have been or in the ground, shouldn’t be going straight to safety.

CeeDee's lazy route is what gave the safety the opening. If he runs it correctly he isn't there. Below is a visual from Stanback explaining it.

I went back and looked at it..... it was Dak's fault bro. Its cool, because he more than made up for it with a solid performance.
