Interesting Dez stat

That's not even remotely close to what was said. Why purposely try to start trouble?
Weren't you at one time a moderator on this board?

Seems to me this is exactly the type of stuff the board owner is trying to get away from in that stickied post.

thanks, there are some things that aren't really worth a response.

He was being sarcastic & also having some harmless fun. Casmith07 is the opposite end of the spectrum when referencing Reality's sticky.

I see how you could view it the way you did but knowing both posters very well it's just harmless "locker room" talk. Nothing serious.

i would bother to read the whole thread before making this sort of response

Cas was clearly out of line

well this turned into a **** storm lol sorry I posted.

It's a cool stat but I'm not sure it really means much. I'm surprised no one has mentioned the usual "there are periods during the game when he disappears" or "it only proves we have no running game" comments.

It's about quantity, not quality, right guys? I mean otherwise I'm screwed.

yeah I just thought it was interesting that with all the greats, these are the only two that meet this particular set of criteria

Dez became only the sixth WR to average 10 TD per season over his first four seasons.

Moss 53
Rice 47
Hayes 45
Alworth 41
Bryant 40
Jefferson 40

He's also the only active wide receiver who is doing this, over any period. Green is one TD short of 30 in three years.

This is the one area where Dez definitely is on track to etch his name in record books. He's a TD machine.

Moss really was the super freak though. The one guy I can remember who just came in and was a superstar from day one.

I had to read the stats twice but now see your point, Didn't get to 275 receptions (overrated stat anyway) Rice is Rice, only a skewed fan wouldn't acknowledge his greatness (even during the Irvin era;)) JG, please turn this production into wins, please? The Vikes were a perennial contender with Moss, we go 8-8? This is why Linehan was brought in (frankly) Stats are fun n stuff, but how about throwing to your 1 out of the slot a few plays, change up his routes, "see to it" that he is open by play structure? I know it hurts your dome (JG) but other teams would make the playoffs, easily.

I don't really see how Dez can compile the stats he has, but somehow the offense isn't doing enough with him. Randy Moss rarely changed up his routes.

It's a myth that Dez hasn't seen the ball enough -- he was the 6th most targeted WR in the league last year... more than both Megatron and Josh Gordon.
