for those that think Felix got easy yards against tired defenses

2007-

1st half:
68 attempts, 680 yards, 10.0avg, 6td, 17runs of 10+yards, 11runs of 20+yards

2nd half:
65 attempts, 482 yards, 7.42avg, 5td, 15runs of 10+yards, 6runs of
20+yards

1st down:
67 attempts, 443 yards, 6.61avg, 1td, 13runs of 10+yards, 5runs of 20+yards

2nd down:
47attempts, 510 yards, 10.85avg, 8td, 14runs of 10+yards, 8runs of 20+yards

3rd down:
18attempts, 209 yards, 11.61avg, 2td, 5runs of 10+yards, 4runs of 20+yards

total of

133 attempts, 1162 yards, 8.74avg, 11td, 32runs of 10+yards, 17runs of 20+yards. Also 47 first downs in 133 attempts. Which means every 2.8 rushes he gets a first down.

every 4.1 runs he gets 1 rush of 10+ yards
every 7.8 runs he gets 1 rush of 20+ yards

Pretty damn special.

all in the toughest conference in college.

Makes me feel a bit better about him, I also like that he seems stronger on his lower body so even though his bench reps were pitiful, it's not that big of a deal. JJ seemed to get worse and worse the more his upper body got stronger. I suppose it does something to screw with your balance.

Thanks for puttin' that together. It's so much more refreshing than people just whining 'cause their guy didn't get picked.Jeebus one guy on here actually stated he could not wait for Felix to fail and Reshard to be a Pro bowler just so he could say I told you so.Amazing to me, simply amazing.

the Pro-Felix Jones crowd is bringing way more to the table
Because all the Anti-Felix Jones crowd wants to do is pout and moan and generally just be a bunch of big whiners.

Also something interesting,

McFadden had a gain of 20+ yards every 21.6 attempts
Compare that to Felix with his 7.8 attempts every 20+ yard gain.
Felix blew McFadden out of the water in explosive plays.

What was ESPN's ypc stat on F Jones yesterday? Wasn't there a category where he'd had the second highest ypc the NCAA in the last 60 years or so?

man if he would have stayed in college one more year and come out of Dmacs shadow then we would be able to see his real worth i have no faith in this guy and totally hate this pick. This pick reminds me of BCarp.

you're amazing dude, Chris Johnson would be in the same situation

CJ a senior ? played next to a heishman runner up all pro RB. was a back up RB. Your right..... wat do you mean by your comment i fail to see any validity that it holds.

Chris Johnson would fill the same role Felix has

complement to Barber, kickoff returner

Yeah I saw that. I think it was 7.7. A lot of people seem to think that he did so well because defenses were worrying about Dmac, but the more I read about Felix the Cat, the more I wonder if Dmac was benefitting from having F. Jones around.;)

People want to claim he only had success due to DMC wearing down the defense, well to those people what do you think MBIII does? Felix is going to be very effective for us and am happy with the selection.

Is this your opinion, or are there others (scouts, analysts, etc.) that share that view?
