In the history of the NFL, only 12% of teams that started the season 0-2 have made it to the playoffs.

Guess we better win in Tennessee huh...

I hope Romo is ready but didn't the cowboys start 0-2 when Emitt S held out and won a sb?

I think a weak division mitigates that a bit - I'm not sold on the Eagles yet.

Don't kid one's self...10% is what it is.

And back in '93, Jimmy still almost broke the team with Emmitt's holdout and Troy not getting his contract until December.

I don't think we were sold on the Eagles last year either. They really don't care. They have their act together. I see it. Just giving credit where it's due.

Thats stat will open you eyes. However, I don't think the Cowboys will have any problem beating Tennessee this weekend. Plus 0-2 in the today's water downed league of parity does not mean much.....80% of the teams are evenly matched with the other 10% sucking and another 10% dominating........

There was a ... "Is this a must win game" thread that I can't find (search function out, I guess or me tired!) that addressed the same subject, perhaps it's lost among all of the other analytic Front Office threads that get sent to the rant locker.

There is no way the eagles have a chance if CZ homers don't believe in them, no way

Well, if we start 0-2, guess we will need to increase that % rate to 12.1%......

Does anyone have the stats since Free Agency changes were made? At this point playoff talk seems crazy anyway, but I would think certain factors could impact those numbers more than others, like key injury/suspension/holdout and which Conference the team lost to. I think the talent imbalance used to be much great so it you were bad, well you were just bad. Now the talent is close enough between teams that the gap is not as wide between the middle 80% of the teams.
