Dallas is playing like hot garbage now. Just in time for a playoff run.

I find it so hilarious that we’re even entertaining such scenarios. Rest our starters or don’t. 5th seed or 7th seed. This team will falter in the WC round like it does every year. They’re already showing their preliminary near end season collapse and just so happened to get saved by the imploding Commanders. This WC blowout will be legendary and depression rates will surge.
Stop your nonsense already. Your act is tired. You've been spouting idiotic doom and gloom for half the season.

You were babbling earlier today about how this 10-4 team was LIKELY going to miss the playoffs and finish the season on a 4 game losing streak.

A 4 game losing streak being extremely unlikely, and even if they did the chances of not making the playoffs at virtually zero. Just utter nonsense.

So, you're either a troll, or you have no idea at all what you are talking about. Or both.

They're going to have no choice but to rest their starters because they are all hurt! Seriously, at the rate they are losing players to injury they may not have any starters available on defense by the first round of the playoffs.

I would definitely rest Parsons or at least give him more plays off.

At the very least you have to reserve Washington game. Our players look worn down on defense. Let them get right for the playoffs

Cowboys won’t rest anyone. They have to get the offensive line jelling and get the defense going again. I might shut Micah down though. He is our only chance come playoff time.

The Giants play Minnesota at noon next week. Should they lose, Dallas will essentially be locked into the 5 seed prior to kickoff of their game against Philadelphia. Assuming Philly doesn’t lose out, which is far enough from the realm of possibility for us to ignore it for the sake of this discussion, Dallas would be a playoff team with effectively nothing to play for over the final three weeks.

Im reasonably confident that has never occurred in NFL history, and 100% certain it’s never been the case for a wild card team.
which makes these next 3 weeks the exact opposite of interesting, lol

Rest guys that need it the last two weeks. Reduce some snap counts.

Don’t have to go cold turkey, but being healthy in the playoffs is paramount.
Yeah this is what I’m thinking such as parsons I don’t know who else the parsonage comes to mind.

The odds that we loose 4 straight and McCarthy is shown the door will probably exist on Fan Duel shortly. Hell, Vegas probably already has that up. We are the polar opposite of a team peaking right now.

If we win out and then win our WC game and then Philthy loses their Divisional game the week after, we get home field for the NFC Championship game if we make it there. The Vikings and 49ers are right behind us so we have something to play for. Do we want to play one of them on the road?

It's been a looong day so I might be mistaken here.
The higher seeded team remaining as the playoffs advance gets homefield advantage for the conference championship. The 6th and 7th seeded teams (currently the Giants and Commanders) would have to knock out 3rd seed 49ers and 2nd seed Vikings, respectively, for the title game to be held at AT&T Stadium --after the 5th seed Cowboys beat the NFC South winner, then top-seeded Eagles in the divisional round.

We'll do both rest the guys that are banged up and play every game like a pre-season game, starters for first half.

Keep the rust off and have the rest/health advantage. No problem with that at all.

They would lose to every winning team they played last year. You shouldn’t have fooled yourself. I think this year should actually be reason to be more optimistic. They’ve beat the Bengals and Vikings.
And the Giants twice and so far Commanders once

My god. Stop watching then. Go run and cheer for another team like you did last time. Only this time the cardinals are horrible so you’d probably go run and cheer for the eagles. You’re a horrible fan. The worst actually. Get bent

I'd be sitting Parsons and Lawrence completely the last 2 weeks. Those 2 guys need to be fresh and ready if there is to be any chance of winning a playoff game.

I've said it all along, we are a 12-5 team. Thats how this will end. We will get beat again next week, then win the last 2. Anything can happen in the playoffs guys. Its the 2nd season, fresh slate. Its a good thing that we wont have a bye week. Yes we need 2 rest Micah in that last game. Rest DLaw as well. In fact, Rest Dak in the final 2 games. We have little 2 gain by risking them. We are slated in already so we know we are in. Beating Philly next week is great. We need that on so many levels, but in the end, it really doesn't matter once we get 2 the post season. Philly will be the div. Champs. Just accept it guys. BUT I think somebody will beat them in the Playoff's. Maybe it will be us. We better learn how 2 choke teams out after we get a lead.

I wouldn't rest players. Parsons is neck and neck with Bosa for Defensive Player of the Year. Other guys will have bonuses attached to performance. Do you think they want to be rested? Plus it sets the wrong tone ahead of the play offs.

Whilst it was disappointing to lose to the Jags yesterday they are a good team. They have dominated and chucked away 4-5 games this season so they are more like a 9-10 win team as opposed to a 6 team win.

The worry yesterday was the lack of depth on the roster was highlighted when we have injuries to the starters. We all knew of Prescott's inconsistent play so that was of no great surprise whereas we can't afford too many injuries on this roster.
