If Dallas is Favre's favorite team why did he re-sign with GB? Why didn't he test the waters and lobby for the QB job in Big D? If that were me that's what I would do.

Well he's always said that he grew up a Dallas fan and still roots for them. The fact he said he would accept a trade to them shows he is willing to make a move.
