I decided I would go over to Taco Bueno and grab a frozen lemonade and while I was on my way over there, I had the radio on. On the radio, The Ticket had switched to their nightly Sporting News Radio feed. I heard a familiar voice on the radio, Brad Sham, so I turned the radio up.

Todd Wright was interviewing him. He was asking the normal questions about keeping focus, what's different about this team than before, etc, but then he had a question about Demarcus Ware. He opened his question by saying that he was talking an NFL scout who said that the Demarcus Ware was the best defensive player in the NFL.

Demarcus Ware - the best defensive player in the NFL. I like the sound of that. :D Figured some of you guys might enjoy that.

True. Still, Taco Bueno has really tasty frozen lemonade. That's two pieces of good information in one post.

He could conceivably end the season with 100 tackles and 15 sacks. That has to be up there as one of the best seasons all time for a defensive player.

Great thing about Ware has been his consistency. He hasn't really had that monster game to inflate his stats. YET.

If he has one or two of those, we could be looking at the DPOTY.

They have one where they mix the lemonade and strawberry and call it some kind of punch. I think its the best of the 3. Love those things.

it's not even the numbers, I find him before just about every play because on so, so many of them he does *something* to disrupt the play, it's amazing how active he is, how athletic he is, and how hard he plays and people give Romo credit but I think Ware is even more of a guy who loves playing football.

He is damn good thats for sure, but I rewatched the game last night and I saw him run himself out of a couple of Brandon Jacobs running plays.

I was pretty disppointed to see that. One? ok, but a couple I wasn't liking.

On a side not, Wade said that he was going to use Tank as a run stopping NT. I didn't understand that as it has always been known that Tank had pass rush ability from the inside. Of course, when you watched the game, you saw he was very active when in against the pass and wasn't very good against the run. (except for a couple of plays)

With Ratliff playing so well against the run, I hope he switching his thinking to letting Ratliff play first and second down and Tank play third.

I will say one thing, he was abused a few times against the run even when only one person was blocking him. There was one run play, where it looked like he held the middle and there were two guards and a center near him and he didn't give an inch of ground. I was throughly impressed. Needless to say, that running play went nowhere!
