For those that clamor that there's no way we can stop the vastly superior Eagles WR's, I present Exhibit A:

Desean Jackson 24 receptions, 501 yds, 20.9 yds avg, 4 tds. SEVEN starts

Jeremy Macklin 22 receptions, 293 yds, 13.3.yd avg, 1 TD

Jason Avant 13 receptions, 155 yds, 11.9yd avg, 1 td

Miles Austin 26 receptions, 563 yds, 21.7yd avg, 6 tds...THREE starts

Patrick Crayton 20 receptions, 291 yds, 14.6 yd avg 2 tds

Roy Williams 14 catches, 249 yds 17.8 yd avg, 2 tds

Yeah, their guys are CLEARLY superior huh? Our guys actually have one more catch, more yds, highers yds per catch and more tds. Yet we're supposedly the team that has questions at WR according to some, and Philly is the team with superior skill people?

Cue up "but but but" in 3.....2.....1

another thing is everybody was bagging Miles for YAC and how KC couldn't tackle, but D Jackson has had a lot of YAC also and had at least one slant that KC missed a couple tackles on. He's a good player, but I think our skill players are as good and we actually more weapons overall.

Maclin is 21 years old. Its his first year.
Desean Jackson is 22 years old. It is his 2nd year.

Miles Austin is 25 years old and is his 3rd year in the league.
Patrick Crayton in 30 years old.

Yeah! Go Ahead. Compare them. Wow the eagle receivers suck!!:bang2::bang2::bang2::bang2:

No kidding. Who cares how old they are? We only care what they do on Sunday.

I don't think anybody said that their WR's sucks :bang2::bang2::bang2::bang2:
I think the point of the thread is that A. our WR's put up every bit as good of numbers as theirs without near the pub and B. We've got 3 pretty good CB's who go against pretty good WR's in practice.

That eagles WRs are playing equally good, despite having lesser experience. Writing a put down thread on them is very blind homerism. When Maclin and Desean are 25, sadly we will see how good they are. We always create this feel good threads in the beginning of the season. Then we get walloped 44-6, and start yelling at Wade, Romo, Garrett and Jerry.

How is it a "put down thread" to post stats that our guys have played just as well as they have?

And we really care about three or four years from now when they're 25? Why?

Let me guess, you're a draft nut and you liked these guys...

Or just a "realist".

Sorry, I just feel Romo is a good quarterback who doesnt have the tools as Peyton or McNabb is having. When i see Garcon and Maclin, i wonder why Romo is not given that chance.

Uh....actaully, those stats pretty much cripple that argument. They are playing very well...no one has said otherwise...but not as well as ours.

Writing a put down thread on them is very blind homerism.

Swing and a miss. No one was putting down the Eagles receivers, but rather the chicken **** Cowboys fans that act like they can't be covered....Doomage.

Impressive. Pre-emptive rueage at its finest.

Except you've been given proof he does and choose not to see it.

And who is going to be throwing them the ball when they are 25, and if they are as good as you say they are, the Eagles won't be able to afford both of them.

Our receivers have performed better this year, period. That is the point of the thread.

Ohhhh! This is a feel good thread? Even though Desean and Maclin are very good, they have equal or poorer stats, right now. This means, our WR corps is equal or better than the Eagles.

How bout them Cowboys. Yay!! Woot!!

While i am high on Ogletree and Austin, i am not on Crayton and RW. During training camp, i got bashed for saying that we should start Austin over Crayton. I hope i am proved wrong, and Crayton becomes the next Wes Welker.

What're you talking about? You're not even addressing his comment. Crayton the next Wes Welker? :laugh2:

Worst comparison ever.

He was trying to say that your random act of bringing up Romo in this thread was proven wrong.. if Romo doesn't have the weapons that Peyton or McNabb have, like you said, then how come these WRs numbers are higher than McNabb's?
