Don't forget that Jackson has 6 plays of 50 yards or more..... they are good, young and explosive......

They are indeed... but the point being raised in rebuttal is our receivers are every bit as good, even a bit better... our passing attack has more gains of 20 yards plus, and only one fewer gain of 40 plus...

We're pretty explosive our own selves... which might be why we're second in the league in total offense, first in the league in yards per play...

...Dallas is currently 7th on CHFF's defensive bendability index...and they need to do just that next sunday...Dallas gives up more yards than most defenses but less points in relation to those yards...that would mean they're pretty good in keeping teams from scoring...and it means teams have to amass more yardage per point...this is a plus in the matchup with Philly...high bendability on defense and good special teams play can make a real difference by the end of a game...

...Indy, NE, and Denver are 1, 2, 3 in this index...pretty good defenses...

Sorry, I just feel Romo is a good quarterback who doesnt have the tools as Peyton or McNabb is having. When i see Garcon and Maclin, i wonder why Romo is not given that chance.

I think Cowboys offense is highly dependent on Romo's ability to escape pressure in the pocket, deliver accurate throws while on the run or under duress and fit balls into tight spots because some of our WRs don't generate much separation.

Outside of Austin, not one of our WRs would be considered an above average starter in the league right now.

I think that one of the Eagles WRs is going to explode all over TNew who I think is in fairly rapid decline. It is a good thing that Jenkins has improved and Scandrick has continued to excel. I also like what I have been seeing from Ball as TNew is quite injury prone at this stage of his career.

I do think the key matchup is Westbrook and the Eagles running game against our front 7. It just often seems like he goes off on us even if he isn't donig much against the rest of the league.

Actually the valid argument would be the difference in how our WR would fare against their DBs versus their WR and our DBs.

At the end of the day the matchups are pretty close especially with sensabaugh emerging and us being 3 deep at corner and not this lopsided bs being portrayed.

Thank you Fuzzy. That was what I was trying to say and failed miserably.

Personally I don't think you can look at it like your DB's vs. our WR's. It's not like the say hike the WR's run around till the ball is thrown and then they're covered if they are. I'd say it's more our front 7 vs. their line and vise versa. Pressure makes your DB's look like all-stars and Commanders if you don't get any pressure.

To be fair.

Mcnabb has missed a couple of games and maclin has only started two games i believe.

So? Kolb's numbers arnt that different from McNabb's. In fact his completion % and yds per attempt are higher.

As for Maclin not starting, Austin hasnt started every game either. Niether have Crayton or RW. I just did a comparison of their top-3 vs our top-3

I dont get it. Should you not be comparing their WRs to our secondary? Or are Dallas WRs dropping back in coverage this week?

I guess I'm not that surprised.

Wouldn't this argument be more productive if you compared cornerbacks against top flight talent rather than WR's?

Seems like Austin, Crayton and Williams will not be on the field when their WR's are.

And if the original premise was discussing how we should fair aghainst their WR's. the cornerback question appears to be more pertinent.

No, because all this was about was showing that our WR corps (which is extremely maligned) has actually been more productive than their WR group, a group which I've seen nothing but praise for almost every week of this season.

And how many yards did Kolb throw for in those games McNabb missed?
