He felt threatened is what happened.
Before Pollard’s big 49ers game, he knew he could get away with any and everything because he was the Cowboys only option. After all, we’re stuck with him with his contract, he knows JJ loves him. He could stink it up and put up 30 yards a game and not care as he knew he had no replacement or competition coming for him, and he’s already paid, so no need to worry in that aspect.

Now? Pollard shows just how expendable Zeke is. Jerry could’ve found a way to rid of him eventually if Pollard and other RB’s play up to expectations. Funny how competition and jealously makes people step up. I’m not complaining.

So did this make his yac better or worse

Even when Zeke is not running well, Dak’s career is made off of him, considering how much play-action they run. Dak has ONE pass called on his like 35 RPOs this year.

Dalton has started three more games than Dak at eight and played five more total, meaning 10 games and has used play action like ten times less than Dak. The usage of play-action for Dak in five games is right up there with QBs in 12 games.

Dak owes his career to the looks Zeke and the RG gave him.

That’s why ‘stacked boxes’ that Zeke runs against doesn’t tell the whole story. It’s whether the RG is creating looks that the passing game can exploit.

There is a reason Dak, like Goff, drop to mediocrity in terms of QB rating when they have to go to their second progression year in and out.

Andy Dalton on the other hand doesn’t need all that play action to win games and not throw INTs.

It's amazing what a little time off will do when you are hurting. Eliott showed quickness and cutting ability that he had not had in his past few starts.

Of course, some are saying he played better because of Pollard's performance against San Fran, but that's to be expected of fans who don't like the player, assuming the worst instead of the best. Saying Elliott wasn't playing as hard as he could before Sunday's game is just another way to attack him.

It's amazing how you managed to start this thread, with the full intention of making it an anti Dak thread, even though it has nothing to do with him.

And by amazing, I mean like "wow, that's so pathetic, it's amazing!".

Zeke just needs to become a professional to get back to where he was. A little maturity would do him some good. Talk to Emmitt and Jerry Rice on how to prepare your body in the offseason to keep himself in the right condition. He had done it all by ability in the past.

We will see if he is willing to make that comittment. He is one of the most skilled Rb's out there - no doubt about that

i don't have the wisdom to understand why zeke's not performed to his earlier standards. i'm just simple enough to enjoy the fact he had an outstanding game sunday and helped wear down the eagles defense. kudos to zeke. now keep it up.

The guy is making a million dollars per game this season, so did he earn that?
Or just play better than he usually does?
pretty good job, million a week, and you do a lousy job, then occasionally you do it
sort of good, and everyone loves you again !
he has it made!
