Over the years here on CZ, we've tended to put certain players on a pedestal before they ever accomplished anything. I was thinking we should create a 22-man roster of the CZ Internet Hall of Fame. I'll give some of them a go (I can't think of a complete roster. I'm missing a few spots)

QB: Chad Hutchinson
RB: Tashard Choice
WR: Isiah Stanback
TE: John Phillips
LG: Kevin Kowalski
OC: Phil Costa
RG: David Arkin
RT: Jeremy Parnell
DE: Victor Butler
DT: Sean Lissemore
DT: Ben Bass
LB: Alex Albright
LB: Devonte Holloman
CB: BW Webb
FS: Matt Johnson
SS: Akwasi-Owusu Ansah

This could be a lot of fun, but I think the roster should be limited to players who are no longer on this roster.

While the chances are slim, current players could still turn out to be solid contributors.

Once Hard Knocks aired, it seemed players really got to the next level of internet praise based off various reasons. Hutch, Flowers, Lattimore & others really became bust or boom topics because wee got to see them more in depth. Even if it was edited for TV so to speak, they gave us story lines to run with.

Who was the WR that Garrett's Dad was so enthusiastic about? His name slips my my mind.

I always liked Lattimore it's a shame he had to be a knucklehead as he had a lot of talent

No, we mean Lattimore. As in Keon Lattimore, Ray Lews's brother.

Oh yeah. I remember him. Decent, but nothing to blow the doors off anything.

I just remember him missing a wide-open hole and kicking himself on the bench when he was being shown the overhead stills.

Hence the all hype internet team. He is talented, just watch his highlights from MD. But he seemed to be missing something up top that has yet to develop.

Marion Barber. Fans were clamoring for him to get the ball more, believing his bruising style would translate over the course of an entire game and entire season.
As we saw, he wore down pretty quickly. Barber was a closer, but if you paid attention to the chatter when he was splitting carries, he should have been carrying the load.
By the way, I'm convinced (though I could never prove it) that the Cowboys change of strategy to run the ball rather than pass the ball for an early lead then rely on Barber in the second half to wear the defense down led to the Cowboys losing to the Giants in 2007. Yeah, Crayton should have caught that slant pass and continued running that go route in the end zone. Yeah, Romo should have thrown the ball a way at certain times.
But I think the Cowboys tired themselves out by the second half of that game. They departed from their original regular season strategy, and it bit them in the collective butts.

He predates CZ, but the patron saint of these guys is Lincoln Coleman.

Missing Dunbar, Church, Beasley, and Scandrick from the current team. All overrated by a lot of our fans.

Hutch wasn't drafted.

Well he was, but into baseball.

He was drafted by someone. Didn't we trade a pick for his rights though or was that the other baseball player turned football player (his name escapes me).
