That and they knew he could cut them at anytime. You can't do that with the cap.

My way or the Highway....you can't run a business like that but you have to run a championship team like that. Everyone has to be on the same accord. We see it every year....

This was awesome. Irvin is definitely one of my all-time favorite players, and I am really enjoying his new roles on the radio and spot TV duty. Agree with all the others, Irvin would make one heck of a coach.

Too intense. You need to be detached enough to make decisions sometimes. But you gotta love the guy. I love his intensity and emotion. It would wear thin real quick if he were a coach. JMO.

Yeah but 44-6 makes me think that is just what this team needs and if it wears thin on ya....go to the Raiders..lol. If he can control that intensity...he could be just like Jimmy in that regard....hopefully.

There were two things Irvin said that were very insightful: (1) First, Irvin said you need to strike quick, when answering why a TE could not be a #1 WR. Man, those 90s teams sure were quick, unlike today's team. (2) Second, he said that if he were a coach and a WR dropped a 3rd down pass and said I'll catach it next time, Irvin would tell him (choking aside - ha ha) there may be no next time. Man, now that's intensity and a sense of urgency righ there, and those 90s teams had those qulaities too, unlike today's team.

Irvin is turning into Mr Cowboy before our very eyes. He's Cowboys every day, all day.

This was really good, appreciate it so much. He's a rare dude, that Mike. Does anyone know of a site to access a video of Irvin's stirring Canton Hall of Fame induction speech? Id love to hear it again. Thanks
