YEP!Did this just start this year, where they can interview during the regular season?
I agree 100%!Interviews should be held the week after the superbowl is played before the start of a league year
Then nobody should be able to interview until the Super Bowl is over.Terrible idea, should not be allowed but there is a reason. Coaches on good teams are disadvantaged because they are still playing. And it's only for promotional positions.

NO NO NOAnyone else think this is wrong and a big distraction to a current active season?

I think even the league hates it, but it’s a huge disadvantage to staff on playoff teams if they can’t interview. And with expanded playoffs it’s a lot of peopleAnyone else think this is wrong and a big distraction to a current active season?
They have guaranteed contracts so they get paid either way. Firing a coach is not like cutting a playerI have no problem with it. These coaches have to do what is best for them. Owners can fire them anytime so it is not like they have all kinds of security.
The solution is simple. Wait until the playoffs / SB are finished before allowing any interviews or hires. Problem solvedThey have guaranteed contracts so they get paid either way. Firing a coach is not like cutting a player
But while I don’t like the distraction, it’s the right thing to do for these staffs. They want to advance their careers and with expanded playoffs it’s a lot of people
It’s one of those things that’s a necessary evil
I hate it myself but I think the old system hurt peoples chances to advance their careers
