If you guys think Murray would be doing any better behind this line this year with opposing teams stacking the box and without Romo and Dez then you are smoking crack. Randle has been pretty good this year when there's been a hole and he's not earning the ire of his coaches.

Well what say you after this last game, I will admit I was surprised, blocking was better, and McF did good job, but I think he got wore out in that one
game.
But If we had murray that game showed we could still run the ball very good, 223 yds 5.6avg 41 carries.
So this disproves all the we need romo and dez to run the ball crap.
A team cant run much better than what we did in the giants game, and we still lost lol.

The ones complaining about no Murray now are the same folks that'd complain about his contract 2-3 years if we resigned him

not if had led to a SB run this year or next.

He is gone, I guess we could try to trade for him lol , but I know that wont happen.
But we have the right to complain about what we thought was a stupid move.
It will fade in time.
May take 2 years but it will fade away along with the possibility of a SB run.

He's gone. How am I wrong? There's your Truth. The continued whining about it, wont be bringing him back. He had a good run with us, then moved on. Do the same.

Whether Murray is on the team in 2015 is not relevant to you continuing to besmirch his success/production in 2014. I realize the guy is no longer a Cowboy, fine with it even, but what he did as a Cowboy in 2014 was historic no matter your misplaced disdain or how much you want to rewrite history.

After DeMarco Murray signed with Philadelphia in March, Cowboys running back Joseph Randle said that it was a good thing that Murray was leaving Dallas because he wasn't getting the job done.

Clearly, Randle wasn't impressed by Murray's league-leading 1,845 rushing yards in 2014. According to Randle, Murray could've had even more yards last season, but he didn't, because he left a lot of meat "on the bone."

"He (Murray) had a good year last year, but I got to sit back and watch a lot and I felt like there was a lot of meat left on the bone," Randle said earlier this year.

With Murray out of the picture in Dallas this season, Randle has had a chance to take all of the meat off the bone in the Cowboys running game, but that's not exactly what's happened so far. Just ask Hall of Famer Michael Irvin.

During an interview with KZDC-AM in San Antonio this week, Irvin said that Randle's left more meat on the bone than anyone.

Irvin said, via the Dallas Morning News.

Randle has 291 yards through five games this season. Murray had 285 yards after just two games last year.

Irvin doesn't think the Cowboys should have ever gotten rid of Murray.

Irvin said.

Unfortunately for Randle, he's left so much meat on the bone that Dallas is expected to give some extra playing time to Christine Michael this week.

As for Randle, Irvin thinks the Cowboys running back would probably take back his "meat on the bone" comment if he could.

As a team, the 2-3 Cowboys have rushed for a total of 533 yards in five games this season. At the game point last season, Murray was at 670 yards.

Randle might be able to take consolation in the fact that he's outrushing Murray this year though (291-242).

Irvin wanted them to sign Murray.

Irvin wanted them to give Dez any amount of money that he wanted. He said they shouldn't even negotiate with him. They should just ask him how much he wants and sign the check(s).

We did offer Murray a contract. Maybe Michael should've convinced Murray to sign it then. Murray is all wrong for the Eagles and I'm sure he would've killed it here with endorsments. Too late now.

Said he had 1 good season. Didn't say it was bad. Thus, no besmirching happened.
He had a pretty good season the year before that, so if anything, I didn't give him credit for that.
