I am very happy for Michael Irvin and this franchise. Delighted.

But this is not good for the future prospects of this team.

All it does is lend support for the foolish notion that Norv Turner is somehow a great selection as head coach of the Dallas Cowboys.

 ............................ and...........................:jerk:........

What's it going to be then, eh?

Thank you for validating my opinion.

Had you agreed, I would be very frightened.

Sometimes you just gotta make a thread, huh? ;)

I see what you're saying, and the reasoning behind it, but there's no way to prove or defend it, or even know if it's true in the end. But it's a theory.

damn this thread is stupid

Norv was there because Aikman called him and ASKED him to come for mike...since he was already in town for his brother. it had nothing to do with Jerry Jones

saying irvin getting in is somehow bad is beyond insane

Darren woodson does he get in? And if yes, will he be a first ballot?

I don't think he does, but if he does, he'll be waiting awhile

Is this enough another one of those things where your sarcasm isn't thick enough to come through?

What I'm wondering, is if Doug Williams happened to be inducted would Jerry, in his tiny little mind (apologies Crazy Cowboy), be so inclined as to resurrect Quincy? Am I feelin' you Alex? :)

Jerry Jones is undoubtedly thinking this lends more credence to his selection.

Having him in the green room with him only makes it more obvious. It was a nicely orchestrated move, however. There is nothing like an obvious example of grandstanding to smooth over what should be a very questionable hire.

I am sure some credit Turner with the fact Irvin was great. That is foolish. But sadly, there are some fans who lack perspective that believe that if he did it with the likes of Aikman, Irvin and Smith, he can do it again with the likes of Romo, Owens and Jones.
"Jerry Jones is undoubtedly thinking..."? When did you become his confidante?

Haven't you in the past questioned posters on making such leaps of faith based on oblique events? Careful, or we'll start to wonder if you have a Norv agenda :D

It must be the McNabb/Owens hugfest. It's affected the magnetic pole, and this is a side effect.
