Wow he continues to take T.O's side.. I have lost alot of respect for Irvin with all of this.
He's defending someone he considers a friend. Happens all over the world every day for far worse situations. He just happens to be in front of the cameras doing it for a layer we all can't stand.dillinger319 said:Wow he continues to take T.O's side.. I have lost alot of respect for Irvin with all of this.

Of course he is. I hate it, but it is what it is.davidyee said:...maybe he's shilling for Cowboys with all this T.O. talk.
You and I both.dillinger319 said:Wow he continues to take T.O's side.. I have lost alot of respect for Irvin with all of this.

He has a right to his opinion but too much is too much. He's really showing his ignorance with this issue.
I stated this back when T.O. was holding out in camp.

He's now the sole media 'labor' voice in a clear management win.
This won't hurt Mike one bit amongst the rank and file..even the players who loathe TO will put themselves in his shoes, and ESPN comes off as 'fairer' than some other media outlets simply for hosting the Irvin takes.
Some fans might be disgusted with Michael's views on this..but I suspect many players are toasting him for them.

Man, there are indefensible positions and TO has painted himself into one of these vorners. Theres a time where you have to stand up and say to your friend. "You lost it dude, your going over the edge. Time to wake up and admit you were wrong and right this ship right now."Hostile said:He's defending someone he considers a friend. I agree, Mike is simply playing a part...LaTunaNostra said:Intentionally or accidentally, I think Mike's defense of TO has taken on a wider context than just personal friendship.

I also fully expect TO to become a member of our Dallas Cowboys next year and to take our offense to a whole new level...Championship level...
Some of you guys will then change your tune and love TO scoring for us...
I doubt Irvin cares about that. He's always the first to bring up his own past when refusing to judge the actions of other players.twa said:Theres that, and also as long as TO is accepted Michaels little indiscrections don't look so serious .
I can't stand T.O. but then again, I couldn't stand Haley before he became a Cowboy. So it wouldn't bother me that much getting T.O. However, I think we other more pressing issues to address such as the Offensive line, Kicker (might seem of lesser importance but how long has it been since we had a reliable kicker?), free safety, and maybe even fullback.Mansta54 said:I see T.O. wearing the STAR next season too and I don't mind it one bit..
