I think most here have just moved on and stopped being concerned if he suits up. He has been a no show most of the year and is not part of the team when it comes to playing. IMO until he 100% recommits to the team, it is better to not waste the energy wondering if and when he will return. Once he gets his issues sorted out then we will know if we should care about his play on the field.

Just can’t wrap my brain around this. As important as roster spots are, why I’m the bleep wasnt he put in IR 8 weeks ago.

I totally understand he's a talent. It's just rather obvious to me that he won't be a talent this year, and likely never again. If he makes it back and plays next year, that's like playing with house money. I don't expect for that to happen, unfortunately.
