I always felt a pretty cool thing to look at was The Triplets postseason #s. They each played about a season's worth of postseason games so the totals are essesntially one season against top competition in pressure situations. All of them have outstanding #s, but look at Irvin's #s:

Total 87 1315 15.1 8

That's an incredible regular season and he did this all in the postseason! I feel that these are some of his most impressive stats yet nobody in the media ever mentions these when discussing his HOF credentials. These stats are more impressive than his 5 pro Bowls, in my opinion. I believe only Jerry Rice has better postseason #s. Those stats are very difficult to find, but I'm pretty sure that is correct. He is easily a top 5 postseason WR at worst. Having said that, the guy I'm pulling the hardest for today is Wright. I believe the Tiplets will all get in eventually, but this is likely Wright's last chance. He should have made it years ago. Why they vote guys out of the final 6 is beyond me. Good luck to all the Cowboys candidates!:lombardi:

Thanks! I think my boy Irvin will get in next year. I'll be wearing my Aikman jersey tomorrow in honor if his selection. Hopefully, next year I'll be wearing my Irvin jersey (in honor of his selection) when the Cowboys are playing in the big game. :lombardi:

Thanks, but I really didn't do any hard work. Irvin's postseason totals are easy to obtain. The part that is tougher is finding the all-time postseason leaders. You could think of all the great WRs that played a good amount of postseason games and compare their stats, but that would be pretty time-consuming. I've just had a hard time finding any website that lists all-time postseason leaders in the NFL. You can find them for each team, and you can always find Super Bowl record holders, but "all-time postseason" stats for the league as a whole are harder to find. Maybe somebody wants to go through each team's history and compile a postseason stat list - I'll pass on that.
