IF you tag a player at any position, but especially at QB, you should enjoy your 1 year and use it to plan on letting him walk.
I am a Dak fan, but after they tagged him, they should have found another QB. You are just screwing yourself when you tag a player and expect to resign him a year later.....because it's just too expensive.
I would only tag a player when I think his backup is a year away from being ready or to prevent him being a free agent when I feel I'm just days away from resigning him.
