Gurode was BENCHED from the RG position, not the Center position. Obviously, Andre is doing well enough at C for Bill to actually say there is competition there, & to admit that he himself made a foolish assumption that AG was an OG because he was scouted as an OG. Parcells has said that AG is a MUCH better C than OG. If Gurode can show some leadership at that position, it would be nice to have a Center with that kind of size & strength.

Imagine the kind of push up the middle we could get with LA, AG, & MR in the center of the line! Each weighs over 310 & is as strong as an ox. It would really take the focus off of the RT position, since teams would have to respect the middle first & foremost before attacking the perimeter.

And he had good thinks to say about Blade, Stewart, Tham, Carter.

Gotta be carefull and really listen to BP.
He said something REAL telling about Gurode that one picked up on and ran a "thread" on. But he missed what Parcells really meant. Jersey guys drip in sarcasm. And they enjoy twisting Dallas reporters me thinks!

Yeah. You're 100% on point there. Gotta read between the lines with Bill because he will really twist ya 'round if you're not on the ball. Those Jersey guys. Somehow Parcells got some of them to believe he would bring Ty Law on board last season.

Those Dallas reporters sure are gullible.

Parcells also said that they haven't done anything exotic yet and he has to be able to pull. Gurode absolutely has talent as a center especially against a 3-4, but Al Johnson fits the mold of a Bill Parcells center.

Al IS OUR STARTING CENTER.
Hear Bill today?

He said in the pc he wished Al could be a little stronger , then immediately corrected himself to 'bigger'.

Gurode is bigger. And the reason your boy Al may lose his job to Dre is your boy Drew needs more protection than any other QB in the league.

Yup. Gurode's size may well trump the superior brain you keep crying Johnson possesses.

Because Bledsoe is so slow Bill has to get even that nanosecond more a slightly stouter stone wall fan give him.

So blame it on Bledsoe if Dre wins out.
