I didn't say that either. What I'm saying is firing him is going to lead to another coach like him or worse coming in. Nothing is going to change until the boss changesFine. Keep Shotty. A clueless coach. I honestly don’t care none of it matters it seems.
I tuned awayIs anyone else just indifferent with this team anymore? I used to get highly emotional and let the game ruin my day/night. Now I just shake my head and go to bed. I think it’s been a decade since I was really invested.
just like that…Is anyone else just indifferent with this team anymore? I used to get highly emotional and let the game ruin my day/night. Now I just shake my head and go to bed. I think it’s been a decade since I was really invested.
I mean I agree but the boss ain’t going anywhere and I just because he’s not doesn’t mean we should have to sit through incompetenceI didn't say that either. In a word: yes.
In a few paragraphs:
I’m foreign born and raised; have never lived in the US; wasn’t brought up with gridiron football; I chose the sport 20 years ago, and I chose an AFC team that I still follow. After a year or two of being accused of glory-hunting (you can guess which AFC team it was), I decided I would also follow an NFC team, and I chose a team with a proud history who hadn’t won in a while. I chose the Cowboys.
Now I’m choosing to say goodbye. I nearly made the decision after last year, but I got re-motivated by this offseason; not sucked all the way in - just intrigued enough to keep going.
But this is the final nail. There isn’t one phase of the ball where they’re remotely well coached.
When I fell in love with this game from half the world away, I fell in love with the fundamentals being done well; with professionalism; with winning football; with a team that had identity and self-respect.
The Cowboys - in all the time I’ve followed them - haven’t had a jot of any of the above, and I am so beyond done.
I might check in here every now and then, because you guys have made this such a fun forum to be part of, but I will spend the remainder of this season weaning myself off of the Dallas Cowboys.
31 years of futility will make you that wayIs anyone else just indifferent with this team anymore? I used to get highly emotional and let the game ruin my day/night. Now I just shake my head and go to bed. I think it’s been a decade since I was really invested.
I just don't like this team. I love the Cowboys, but not this iteration. The defense is somehow even worse than last year. I don't like the play calling, I don't like the attitude. They seem woefully unprepared every single week. You just never know which version will show up. And yeah, I kinda just don't care as much anymore. Is anyone else just indifferent with this team anymore? I used to get highly emotional and let the game ruin my day/night. Now I just shake my head and go to bed. I think it’s been a decade since I was really invested.
Jones sober? What some call indifference, I call being “Jones-sober”. I know the man behind the curtain and he’s proven after three decades that he’s a football idiot. Btw, I’ve been Jones sober for 15 years now.
Yep!Is anyone else just indifferent with this team anymore? I used to get highly emotional and let the game ruin my day/night. Now I just shake my head and go to bed. I think it’s been a decade since I was really invested.
That 07 year, 2014 and the final for me was losing to GB on 2016 After that I detached myself. The 2024 GB playoff game was over quickly so it wasn’t as badI became convinced JJ really did sell his soul for SB30 after the 2007 Giants loss in the playoffs. I still get mad sometimes but I try not to get emotionally invested too much anymore
