Is anyone still worried about our 2-2 preseason record?

It still haunts my dreams...

Only nutjobs were worried about the record. I think it was more the penalties, the overall horrific special teams play, the Romo red-zone INT, etc., that concerned most rational fans. Trends that we hoped would disappear when the season began.

For the most part, despite some early kinks (mainly penalties), I think we've gotten rid of most of the preseason jitters.

There were a lot of vocal nutjobs in the preseason. They're hiding now, but they know who they are.

I never have been nor will I ever be concerned with preseason records.


I was, however, concerned with how we were PLAYING in the preseason (the starters) and for good reason. In the preseason I couldn't care less about Wins and Losses, but only a fool would ignore how the starters are actually performing on the field (plus special teams).

Bills were 2-2
Patriots were 0-4
Bears were 1-3
Packers were 1-3
Giants were 2-2
Cards were 2-2
Panthers were 2-2

All currently have winning records.

Moreover, the Lions were 4-0 in pre-season.

Pre-season game results are not a good measuring stick. How you see them do in those games says more than the final score. Dallas' 2ndary was shakey. Dallas' kick coverage wasn't very good.

Dallas' defense gave up 280yds/game in pre-season, giving up 302yds/game now. Who would/could have known that injuries and what many feel is a poor plan of attack could result in a 4-3 record that's more on the 3 than 4 side of things right now.

No still not concerned over pre-season games. Dallas is 4-3 and have a lot of work to do but the season is far from over

good post. some homers will spin W-L stats but the WAY WE PLAYED and NON-URGENCY to everything that cupcake does is evident in our losing record over the last 11 games (not counting preseason).
