Is anyone worried that success may be getting to us?

I don't see anything about this team that points to them being over confident...

They are confident, yes... and united... but focused...

I like our chances...

Not at all. They are playing well on both sides of the ball and they are for real. I think this play since the NO game has most Cowboy fans going Wow! The last time I saw this team play a dominating game was against Indy I think 4 years ago. They have now played to that level 4 weeks in a row.

I think you're thinking way too hard man. Sit back and enjoy the ride for as long as it last.

The thing Dilfer has always praised about this squad all season was that he thought we played with a singular focus, had the ability to tune out noise and didn't ride the season's peaks and valleys.

I think those traits have only been intensified in recent weeks, which is why I'm not worried about this team not being 'up' for a game, and in the playoffs no less.

I was at the game sitting across from the Cowboys sideline. My only concern was the amount of celebrating that was taking place. If we had a Gatorade dunk, and shoulders carrying Wade, you would have thought the Cowboys won the Super Bowl that night.

I also saw coaches and players taking imaginary monkeys off each others backs.

I do hope they're still hungry, but the above scene did put a little fear into me despite a great night at the game.

Why is it wrong to celebrate a playoff win against a division rival that had got the best of us in recent years???
The team had not won a playoff game in 13 years!!!
Like you said, they didn't go overboard and I'm sure the coaches and players realize that this was just the first step in reaching our goal. We still need three more wins and I have no doubt the team will be prepared and will execute this Sunday for the second step......:star:

I'm not in the least bit.

Seems like 'success getting to you' really happens in the regular season or in the first playoff game.

In the past, I could see success getting to Dallas, but this team is different. They show up to play and know that any team can beat them. Couldn't say that in the past.

Plus, we're at a point where just about any team...no matter how aloof they are...will take every game extremely seriously.

Yeah, I don't think there is much risk of this group getting overconfident this postseason.

They are on a hot streak now. Here's hoping it continues for 3 more games.

This team has seemed so on point lately.

Maybe I'm just edgy heading in to Sunday...Hopefully that's the case...

The fact that no one seems to be 'chirping off' is good, just not 100% certain of Wade making sure everyone is where they need to be mentally after last season (I guess we shall see if we truly can 'change' right?)

let's see if I have this straight, you are worried our winning is not a good thing?
