Has anyone checked the Boston area bridges for Norsey?

I'm hoping he'll "Wash up" somewhere... in a few weeks.

Not sure about the actual "game" clock, but on TV the game clock was not at zero. Also, the players had to stay out the finish the play, yet the coach didn't know there was time still on the clock? If players are on the field, I would expect the coach to be aware of that on also be out there.
On Mike and Mike, they said the game clock was at zero and then a second was put back on the clock.

Before Mike Carey informed them they had to run one more play, by rule, Belichick and Coughlin were already shaking hands and whatnot. And with the amount of people on the field, I think everyone was confused by the clock, not just the coaches. So I'm not sure where the bashing is coming from in this case.

They already did the sportsmanship thing, so why do it again?

you're kidding yourself if you think he didn't know there was still time on the clock. he was informed by the ref as he was running onto the field to escape. he simply wanted to leave, so he did.

And if you believe there's a tooth fairy, expect to get a dollar when you get old and start losing you're teeth.

Seriously, people look for **** even when there's nothing to be found. Don't let hate blind you to reality. I sat there and watched while both Belichick and Coughlin met in the middle of the field along with a gang of other folks. Who does that if they think there's still time left on the clock? That's when Mike Carey had to tell them there was still time on the clock.

This is such a non-issue, but folks will believe what they will cuz it's the Pats and you MUST think the worst at all times.

I agree. It amazes me how some can take the most minor things and try and make them out to be bigger than what it really is.

Hey, no blind hatred here. In my mind if ANY coach has been informed by the ref that the game isn't over, he shouldn't leave the field, regardless of confusion and whether the handshake has taken place or not. Would feel the same way if we had just lost the super bowl and wade had done it.

They are poor winners and sore losers and have been this way from the beginning.

YAKUZA

exactly right, they have always been that way.

He acted the same way when they lost to the broncos in 05.

That team comes off as classy because they are always winning and get to take the high road and smile..

When they lose...its a totally different story.

unfortunately the giants won, who are even more unbearable.

It is not THE story from yesterday, but it is what it is. He left his team out on the field because it was uncomfortable for him to stay out there.

He absolutely knew that another play HAD to be run, he knew that. And a leader of men would stay with his players. I understand that it was a hard thing to do, but it was the right thing to do.

Myself, I don't really care what he did, if he left or stayed, but it is no surprise that he did leave. He is a bully type, and that is what they do.

There are some coaches that would never have left early the way he did, but I have seen it before.

Another famous coach did something very similar when WVU upset his team in Morgantown one year. We played him every season back then, and he would always be very diplomatic and sportsmanlike each year because WVU was always his whipping boy. But when WV upset him he left the field and took his team with him with like :10 seconds left or something.

Some don't have the backbone to do what is very hard to do, even though it is the right thing to do.

It seems there has been time after time that people have to explain why Belichick did what he did or acted the way he did. They have to explain or take up for his actions time after time. There is a reason for that, and so that is why I was not surprised that this coach did what he did.

Like I said, it is not THE story, .. kudos to Eli and the Giants.

Belicheat...the name says it all. He goes from, Cleveland can't get rid of him fast enough to the most high and mighty the game has ever seen just because he went to NE. Fact is, most coaches worth a darn can coach when you have talent. Can the "genius" talk stop now?

My wife asked me who I was pulling for and after several seconds I replied "I don't know".............although the Gents repulse me, the arrogant Patriots displease me more! Tough decision but I was happy to see Eli (but surprised) lead his team to that last score..............the perfect season ended...........and we can deal with the Giants in 2008!

Yes he did, but to me it is different, .. even worse, for a Head Coach to do this.

I don't remember thinking it was that big of a deal that Moss did it. He shouldn't have done it, but still, it is different since it was a Head Coach.

there are lots of reasons to dislike bellicheat but this is'nt one of them. he had already shook hands with tom.some people let their hatred blurr their vision.
the real question is why he did have the signal for the route that won the game. someone on his staff must have vidoed the wrong signals
