Bledsoe Sightings anyone?

I have not seen or heard any media reports stating that Bledsoe is back at Valley Ranch or WILL be back at Valey ranch.

What happens if Bledsoe doesn't come back?

How will he handle having to be number two behind Tony Romo whom he snubbed on Monday night?

How will this affect the team?

who cares... tuna should give him the week off practice... it's probably a good idea.

If Romo got hurt Drew would be the SOS and further hinder our evaluation of the QB position for the draft/2007. Sorry to say, i'd rather lose than have Drew play any more games as QB. I'd play Crayton over him as backup if we got to 5 losses in fact.

Probably my least favorite Cowboy ever. What a colossal waste.

But at least the guy could move--- far better pocket awareness than deadslow ever had.

Sad but true.

And if Bledsoe was to not stick with the team this year...it really wouldn't surprise me if Vinny was brought back...

i don't think the trade deadline maters. what qb did you want to trade for?romo will play, barring injury the rest of the season and drew will be the backup.

True. But then he'd move and throw an interception.

I think we should wait to see if Bledsoe is staying before we even bring up Vinnys name.

However if he, Drew, did retire or gets cut I have no problem with bringing in Vinny as purely a backup QB.

I don't need another young guy off the streets to be a backup and create even more QB controversy.

If we are going with Romo we should stick with romo starting and have a vet sitting on the bench in case Romo gets hurt.

First let me say I share your sentiment. However, as a backup in a time where we've passed the trade deadline he seems like a viable option. This is if, and only if, Bledsoe tanks it and goes scurrying away like a big baby. Obviously it's best to have Drew there just in case he's needed but if not wouldn't we be more comfortable with Vinny for the rest of the year only in a backup role to Romo? We could all then pray collectively every week that Romo doesn't go down for any length of time.

It would be logical to atleast keep Dredsoe as
the back-up in the event Romo were to get injured.
Btw.the very first play where he had the ball tipped and
intercepted,he ran right in there to tackle the guy, that
had to give Bill heart palpitations.

I see you answered while I was typing. So we're in agreeance then. The name Vinny does make me cringe but under certain circumstances it wouldn't be too bad to see him standing on the sidelines as a backup.

Yes.

However I think one thing people would worry about is if Romo continued to struggle they feel Bill might put Vinny into the starting role.

In this case I don't think it would happen as they would leave Romo in...once again unless of injury.

Of course all of this is pure speculation at this point until we hear if bledsoe is still going to be on the team.

Let me explain it this way.

Say Romo flops. It could happen. Say he gets hurt. Again, it could happen. Under no circumstances do I want that 400 pound squating dinosaur ever throwing a football in our uniform ever again.

In other words, not even as a backup. I don't even want to see him on the sidelines in our colors. I'd feel insulted.

I pray that my response not be taken as "piling on."
