Is Bledsoe even Practicing today?

You are right, of course, Hos.

First, Bledsoe isn't leaving IMO, and there is no evidence to suggest he is.

BUT, if he does, we are a little bit screwed. There is no one out there right now who is a servicable backup who even remotely knows our system (other than Henson  )

Over Vinny, as our backup, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Not joking. (Several who know me are now fainting.)

Remember though, he'd have a 4 game suspension to serve.

Bledsoe isn't going anywhere though until the season ends.

Didn't he get that suspension out of the way when he was with the Jets? I know he started a game or two for them, so he must have.

Henson, Carter (after 4 game suspension), Vinnie, Rohan Davey (he could probably run it), Hutchinson. Off the top of my head, that's about all I can think of.

No, he did not. Jets waived him and no one else has signed him. He has to be under contract to serve the suspension.

Anybody heard yet on the ticket if they plan on still doing the Drew Bledsoe show today?

I think it's during the Bad Radio show with Bob and Dan, 12 - 3 pm. I want to guess it starts around 2 pm.

Either way, it should be really good listen to hear his side of the story. Especially if Romo is made the starter.

Bledsoe Sightings anyone?

I have not seen or heard any media reports stating that Bledsoe is back at Valley Ranch or WILL be back at Valey ranch.

What happens if Bledsoe doesn't come back?

How will he handle having to be number two behind Tony Romo whom he snubbed on Monday night?

How will this affect the team?
i refuse to believe bledsoe will walk out on his team mid-season. the guy is a professional first and foremost.

i don't expect him to be happy about his demotion. i'm sure it's a huge and bitter pill for him.

but he will show up and be ready in case his number is called. we don't really know an iota about romo's durability and with our O-line - this is a big concern. so it wouldn't come as shock to me to see bledsoe back out there again this year.

What suspension is he waiting to serve on? He didn't get suspended while with the jets, did he? because he did actually start and play for them.

We sign QC or Henson....you wake up with a snake in your toilet...and no I am not kidding.

Well...maybe I am, maybe I will just send the snake through the mail as I am too poor and lazy to drive or take a plane to AZ.

He indicated at one point that a 4 game suspension looms for him once he returns to the NFL. It would be for his time in Dallas. They could not enforce it because of his grievance against his waiver.

I'd take either one of them over Vinny. That is the caveat you are ignoring.

And what you seem to be ignoring is...I would take Vinny, as bad as he is, over those two.

Henson does not have it...PERIOD.

QC is another suspension waiting to happen.

No thanks.

Hos, is Vinny really THAT BAD?

A 400 pound squatting Dinosaur?

Can you elaborate on that?

What did Vinny do to make you despise him so much?

He semed to have faired okay when he was here, better than Bledsoe.

As a backup, Vinny should pacify the team for awhile.

I mentioned Rohan Davey earlier. I don't think he's on anybodies active roster. He might be an option. He's got no real experience but he would probably be able to run the offense as he spent 3 years in New England. Just a thought.

If he's out there still, I'd take a flyer on him.

They might have to change that to the Tony Romo show now. I'm glad Romo will apparantly start this weekend but that guys post game interview was terrible. I don't think I could stand a Tony Romo show.

Where were you at the end of 2004? Vinny was so washed up he was fading in the sun while still on the clothes line.

Parcells bragged that he could squat 400 pounds. Whoop dee freaking doo. He couldn't throw for crap.

There are steps backwards that I would take on occasion. Bringing him back is not one of them.

LOL... water under the bridge. forgotten history. ;)

About Vinny, I would be just as insulted as you but there just doesn't seem to be any other option of Bledsoe curls up in a ball. Vinny knows the system. We would just have to have a group prayer before every game on Romo's behalf. :D

I do agree that would be a major step backwards but we might have to stomach it if Drew doesn't "take it like a man".
